11/2016 : Basic, very basic hotel for sleeping.

Posted Nov 28, 2016
Pros: In the heart of the stockyards, within walking distance of every bar & shop and easy enough to stumble too after a night of bar hopping.
Cons: It is a basic, basic, basic hotel, for sleeping, so don't go in with high expectations and you won't be disappointed.
Location: Cantina Cadillac across from the hotel, is the Home of the Pro Rodeo Cowboy & good chance to meet one while inside. Cheap drinks & lots of PRCA photos
A very basic hotel with practically NO amenities, that are found in most chain hotels. In the heart of the Stockyards, surrounded by Bars. Street Parking, Bathroom/Shower worked, A/C, Heat. Noisy until the bars close at 2am, crowd dispersing by 3am.

Keep going to the Stockyards Hotel

Posted Nov 15, 2016
Pros: It was close to the stockyards. That was it.
Small, musty rooms. Electricall outlets were non-operational. Phone did not work. Woman who checked us in was so rude. Place smelled like bug spray. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

It was small not the double bed we thought. And there were no accommodations. The guy was alright that checked us in. But then the lady was rude the next morning.

Hotel Texas

For the price it could be better. The walls were dirty and the ceiling in the bathroom leaked. Nobody was around for check out either. Great walking distance from the bars though.

Disappointed

Posted Feb 23, 2016
The lady that checked us in and stayed in the room to the left was not nice at all. Had a terrible annoyed look on her face every time you spoke to her or need her. Even at check in !!!!!! One lamp was just a bulb with no shade on it, blinds covered in dust and bedspread falling apart with stuffing coming out. Took water 10 minutes to get hot enough to shower . Wall thermostat and window unit air and no directions from the lady as which to use so we used both. Listed as breakfast but never saw any available and coffe was cold and coffee maker cruddy ! Won't go back !

Small historical building

Posted Feb 8, 2016
Pros: Within walking distance of the bars and restaurants.
Cons: Need designated parking lot.
Location: ANYTHING Stockyards!
This hotel is perfectly fine if you're only looking for a place to lay your head and take a shower after a night of partying in the Stockyards. We've stayed here many times because you can walk to all the bars and eateries. AC and heat work great and TV has cable. Only complaint would be there is no parking lot available.

this as awful

Posted Jan 25, 2016
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
Location: Were at the stockyards, location is the only redeeming quality here.
The room was filthy dirty, tv did not work, staff was sullen. I guess you get what you pay for. We did not get a key until 1AM in the morning, that did not instill confidence. Do not go here.

Nice, older hotel in great location

Posted Jan 17, 2016
Pros: Location and ambience
Cons: "Continental breakfast" wasn't really what one would consider a "continental breakfast." Maybe real pastries or doughnuts would be more appropriate.
Location: Right in the middle of everything in historic Fort Worth--shopping, bars, restaurants, stockyard activities, Billy Bob's, etc.
Though the room was small, it was a great experience in the old section of town. We were in walking distance of everything we wanted to do--stockyards rodeo, shopping, bars/restaurants, and Billy Bob's. The room was decorated appropriately for old Texas, very clean, and everything worked. Since it was in the old section of town, it was VERY near the nightlife, so some outside noise was annoying but nothing we didn't expect.
