Rooms are outdated And need new furniture other than that it was OK I guess.......................

Good overnight stay

Location: Walking distance to several restaurants, across the (busy) street from Target, next door to a gas station. A couple of miles from Hulen Mall.
I would recommend this hotel to a friend knowing that in just a few weeks (11/2016) they are going to start doing a complete and total renovation. This hotel is in a decent part of south Fort Worth. It is walking distance to several restaurants and stores. Right now, it is old and in desperate need of updates but, as I stated, I not only read but overheard that they are doing major renovations. Otherwise it is clean and the rooms are incredibly spacious. Their staff was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. A couple of hours after checking in, the front desk called my room to make sure everything was acceptable and asked if I needed anything additional. That is a phone call I haven't received even from the fanciest of hotels I have stayed at. It was a nice touch.

Time to update!

Pros: The location was the only saving factor of my stay.
Cons: The elevators could run more efficient, the stairwells could be kept cleaner, the restrooms should be cleaned or repainted.
I have stayed at La Quinta a few years ago and remember it as being ok. However, this location has seen better days. The only reason I stayed there was the other hotels around that area were booked. I thought, "Hey La Quinta is not so bad." Well, that was years ago. The bathroom seemed dirty, but upon closer inspection, could have used a paint job. The elevator was smelly, and their stairwells were filthy. I was there for over a day, and there was red liquid on the floor of the first floor stairwell the whole time I was there. One would think a manager would make a walk of the grounds when they get there, to make sure everything is up to par.For the amount of money they charged me, I would expect things to be better taken care of. Was very disappointed with the hotel.

Nice facilities

Hotel was well equipped with exercise room, pool, conference rooms and complimentary breakfast. Staff was excellent. Only bad part which not hotel fault is 4.5 miles from TCU but 15 minutes as roads a mess
