They say everything is bigger in Texas, you can't argue that with a golden hour like this!
A serene area inside of a busy city. Very Beautiful place to relax n walk around. Our super mild winter has afforded us the luxury to dine alfresco spring Japanese festival, the year of the monkey Ahi Tuna tour, amazing. Aluminum trees The arrival of [railroad]s in 1876 made the area a very important livestock center. Fort Worth Union Stockyards opened for business on January 19, 1890, covering 206 acres. On February 7, the Fort Worth Dressed Meat and Packing Company was founded. This facility was operated without profit until purchased by G. W. Simpson of Boston. In an effort to produce revenue, they reached out to the Swift and Armour companies to establish packing houses. By 1886, four stockyards had been built near the railroads. Boston capitalist Greenleif W. Simpson, with a half dozen Boston and Chicago associates, incorporated the Fort Worth Stock Yards Company on March 23, 1893, and purchased the Union Stock Yards and the Fort Worth Packing Company. The Stockyards experienced early success. By 1907, the Stockyards sold a million cattle per year. The stockyards was an organized place where cattle, sheep, and hogs could be bought, sold and slaughtered. Fort Worth remained an important part of the cattle industry until the 1950s. Business suffered due to livestock auctions held closer to where the livestock were originally produced.(wiki) Great looking building. You should snoop around old courthouses.

The old site of the The Flying Saucer which is now just a block away from the original position - located in Sundance Square of Fort Worth, Texas.
The Saucer was the beginning of the freedom I now experience. Yes, beer does give many of us freedom at the moment. However, during my quest to drink 200 unique beers from all over the world, I thought about actually visiting these places. Today, I am in the process of making my way to the different places.
I could go it all the good times I had while getting my plate up on the wall, which is now down the street on the wall of fame. However, the great times are the here and now as I explore the different beers of the world in person. I may not have a plaque on the wall in some sweet ass bar, but I'm drinking the beer from the original tap and making my way.
So if you're every in Fort Worth, Texas and want a cold one go into The Flying Saucer. Grab yourself a brewski, enjoy the music and people passing by and look up on the wall for the name Steve Marker You will fall in love with the Japanese Garden. The historic district here really is like stepping back in time... Monet in the morning Beautiful find when sightseeing downtown Fort Worth!
The park is divided into sections. You'll find the aerating pool, the quiet pool, and the active pool (pictured here). You'll also find the mountain, which was a struggle since my foot hurt during the visit, but we still climbed. I would have to say my favorite was the active pool not only because it is visually exciting but also because of the sound of running water. I could easily lay down and fall asleep in the shade. This place can do no wrong! Highly recommended for the carnivores out there.
