While the location is a bit distant from the city center, it's highly recommended for those who enjoy tranquility. The room is very new, with many amenities just replaced, though it lacks some electrical appliances like a hairdryer and kettle, perhaps because it has just opened. The staff's service is exceptional, always there to assist me.”

“Honestly, Oualie is not the most posh, most modern resort. It's even rather rundown. The accommodations are simple, humble and can do with some work but the sheets are clean (if you get where I'm coming from), the food is nice and staff are available, neighbourly and they work hard. What Oualie has is that natural tucked away, untouched, unspoilt beauty. “First and foremost was the amazing view, I had Mount Nevis on one side and the ocean straight ahead. I enjoyed my private balcony and the spacious studio. I had breakfast daily near the pool and the staff was very attentive. I will be back.”

“This stay provided exactly what my husband and I needed for our time here. It was nestled in the community and did not feel very touristy. Everyone we met was kind, especially when you greet them. It was walking distance from markets, malls, etc., including Pelican Shopping Mall, Port Zante, and Independence Square, and Basseterre Public Market. Not to mention the water right outside of the hotel and supermarket beneath the hotel for quick buys. The Colosseum is also walking distance from……
