Probably the Worst Hotel I have ever stayed in!Posted Aug 24, 2014 on Hotels
What started out to be a long night of searching for a hotel led me to this little hidden lump of coal. A vacation home to the area where I grew up was soured by the unkept hotel which was forced up me, the unsuspecting traveller; as a result of the culmination of the Pocono Race weekend, A Little Leauge convention and Musikfest. The rooms were marginally clean at best; hair on the floors and dirt on the bedding. All the appliances were connected to an extension cord running the length of the side wall of the room. After a long day out, the simplest pleasure of a warm shower was unimagineable since the water was barely warm to the touch. They area in which the hotel is located makes one wish for locking lug nuts on each of the wheels on their vehicles. My recommendation - AVOID THIS HOTEL LIKE THE PLAUGE!!! Its definately not worth the money charged!

Rundown motel in need up upkeepPosted Jul 29, 2014
Cons: Better cleanliness, upgraded sheets/bedspreads/towels
Location: Not much to do in the immediate area other than a mall. Knoebel's Amusement Park is about 40 minutes away.
As soon as I walked into the room, I was hit with the overwhelming stench of years of cigarette smoke. Despite my run to the local convenience store and the purchase of, and subsequent use of, an entire bottle of Febreeze, the odor never went away. My clothes and luggage REEKED when I got home. Additionally, my sheets had ash in them (literally, there were cigarette ashes inside my sheets), the side table and chair were sticky with God knows what, the shower didn't drain, and the room was just overall shabby/unclean feeling.

avoid this placePosted May 30, 2013 on Orbitz
The continental breakfast was a cup of coffee. It took between 5 and 10 minutes to get hot water in the shower. Stains on furniture and carpet. I could go on but I'll sum it up with 2 words. IT SUCKED !

Be Very Discerning When Considering BookingPosted Apr 16, 2013
Pros: Close to Pottsville
Cons: The location, room decor and other guests.
Location: It was located off the main road but was hidden off to the side - hard to find in the dark.
Was not easy to find motel and while the staff were very friendly, the room was okay - it is good value for your money. The bed was comfortable and clean. However, the towels were threadbare thin and the toilet was not fully connected as it moved when you sat down. The room decor and furnishings really need to be updated and some of the other guests were quite creepy.

speechlessPosted Feb 3, 2013 on Hotels
Walked in the room and none of the beds were made and it looked like someone had just left the room! There was a potato and 2 limes left un-eatened laying on the table! There was a dirty hoody left rolled up in the comforter!!! Water pressure was horrible and took forever to get hot and also took about 15 mins for the water to drain!!! I will never stay at this place again!!!!!!
