Magnuson in Framingham - fair to midland in pinch

Posted Dec 4, 2018 on Hotels
The hotel was fair, old decor and a bit musty, though rooms are huge and comfortable My main complaint was that the Ving card devices at outter doors around hotel do bnot readt the room cards, only one out of 20-30 attemps scans thru Office managers knwo this adn say its just that their old and affected by weather Well change them!!! Its a royal pain in @ss having to walk clear around the hoitel with bags, etc at night and in foul weather, Little to no parking upfront by main entrance,

The hotel was ok and very clean. The area was a little shady meaning, I didn’t feel safe dispite the big lock on the door otherwise the hotel was fine.

Framingham

Posted Oct 23, 2018 on Hotels
Went to visit a college in Boston. Lodging in the city was very expensive. Framingham is only a 20 minute drive to where we had to go so we chose to stay there. Strictly a money decision. Everything in the city seemed to be $300 and up. We payed $122 with tax. The hotel was an excellent bargain. People at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. There is a mall right next door and a bertuccis brick oven pizza restaurant on the opposite side. There is a very large restaurant at the front of the hotel which is closed down. The rooms are very spacious and clean. All of the common areas were nice and clean also. Only drwback is that the place is very dated. In need of a remodel. The mattresses were kinda sunk in the middle, old carpeting. But, that being said, you get what you pay for. And I would go back. Also... there is breakfast included, which is another plus. Nice belgian waffle maker.
