It is okay

Posted Nov 21, 2016
Pros: In the old town and there are restaurants , cafes nearby.
Location: The castle, museums, bakeries, cafes, restaurants.
A basic hotel, in the old town. You can either take a taxi from Nurnberg Airport costs about 19 euros or U2 which is peanuts. The room we stayed was 112 on the first floor. There was no windows , just a glass door opening to a sort roof space and facing a wall. The room was I would call it small and the toilet/shower even was smaller. In order to close the door you have to go into the toilet first then close it. It was that small, tiny. For the money we paid for 2 days it was just okay. If you want a simple ,clean room/bed to put your head down it is ok.

You get more than you pay for.

Posted Nov 19, 2016
Pros: Location and honest German charm.
Cons: Given what it sets out to be, nothing.
Location: Everything within the city wall of old Nürnberg is within easy walking distance.
I came for a conference, so I didn't do any sightseeing. I attend the conference every year. I stay at Hotel Agneshof every time--and will continue to do this. Approx 60% of the cost of a business hotel like Le Meridien. Of course it isn't five start. But it's clean and comfortable and the breakfast is honest German food at its best. You get MUCH more than you pay for. The location is astonishingly perfect.

Great hotel in city center

Posted Oct 10, 2016
Pros: Hotels proximity to every site was fantastic. The breakfast was well worth the 7€.
Cons: Only improvement would be a larger room.
Location: Walking to restaurants, shops, and activities was so easy and close.
Hotel is in a good location to walk to the castle and everything else inner city. It's clean and comfortable, quiet and with good views.

Angenehmer, schöner Aufenthalt in der Altstadt

Posted Sep 25, 2016
Pros: Service, Sauberkeit
Cons: Frühstück: Kaffee zu bitter! Jedoch gab es Milch und Zucker
Location: in der Altstadt, alles in der Nähe! Kultur, Einkaufen, Essen, Clubs

Convenient place to stay in the old city.

Posted Sep 4, 2016
Hotel staff were all very nice. The room was kind of small, but really not a big deal. Rooms were made everyday while we were out. It is located really close to a lot of historical landmarks and museums. Just a few minutes walk from most. My only complaint is there is no air conditioning. Since we stayed during the hottest part of the year it was slightly uncomfortable. We were able to get a fan from the hotel, which made a big difference. It's not unusual for there to be no A/C in Germany as it usually isn't hot enough to really need it.

Exactly! The typical German summer seems to change: from moderate temperatures into something which becomes more and more difficult to predict... It is not possible for us to upgrade the rooms with AC due to the (historical) basic structure of our building, so we are happy to offer the fans. Sorry for any inconvenience and a big thank-you for your kind feedback!

Lovely hotel. Handy for exploring the old town.

Posted Aug 24, 2016
Pros: Relaxing place to stay. Excellent value.
Location: Located in the old town close to the castle, Albrecht Durer's house, the toy museum and the beautiful churches are a must to visit.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Hotel very clean. Excellent buffet breakfast. This is our second visit to the Agneshof and we would certainly return again if visiting in Nuremberg. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Overnatting

Stoppet for at bl.a. se på slottet i Nürnburg som ligger kun 3-4 min fra hotellet. Koselig by og veldig hyggelig område rundt hotellet. Greit at finne hotellet og tilgang til "heisparkering" i kjelleren. Enkelt og greit med flott relax i kjelleren. Savnet dog AC på rommet.
