Reataurant and hotel were very good! One minus point, the electric supply’s were shut off during night (electric system) so for working people getting up and counting on having everything charged, this was a bit of a minus point

Modern comfortable hotel near the city centre
The hotel is very conveniently located near the city centre. Most places in the city are within walking distance. The hotel is set back from the road so there is no traffic noise. The room and common areas had a smart, modern appearance. The room was very comfortable with a good bed. The breakfast has a good variety of things to choose from.

Parking in the underground garage was difficult due to some renovations work going ond the high occupation at the time I was there. Otherwise excellent hotel and marvelous breakfast!

Nice hotel but bit old as I was given a bigger room which was nice but the closet shelves were some half broken, the window was bit not fully closing but they manage to fix it. Sometimes in early evenings there were some noises but at full night was o.k. The Jazz night was nice which was free entrance to the guest. Overall good hotel nearby galleria and shopping district and not far from the Erlangen Bahnhof.

A definite stay in erlangen.
Located in the heart of downtown erlangen, this hotel was a wonderful stay. A very quick walk to the social scene and train station. The staff were friendly and welcoming from check in to check out. The room was exceptionally clean and had a small balcony.

The hotel seems to be coming out of renovation, and started operation before renovation finished. Rooms are equipped with an automation which is supposed to make it easier to control lights, but the automation fails all the time, power outlets come offline periodically, the fan in the bathroom stops shutting off and runs full time, etcc. The breakfast is good thought, good choice of food and nice service.

Requested a room with AC, no AC. It was incredibly warm in the room. I asked for an iron for clothes 3 days in a row with no iron. Finally they did agree to press my shirts after 3 days. Otherwise, generally friendly staff. The hotel is undergoing major renovation. I hope it’s a lot better!

Old World Bavarian Charm
Have stayed here many times. The hotel can always be counted on to be clean, quiet and dignified. During the week it caters to business people and on weekends is quiet. The is a parking garage. Hotel is tucked away in a courtyard and is within walking distance of the train station, shopping and restaurants. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and is in the architecturally interesting arched Keller.

Quaint Hotel Near Train
This is a very quaint hotel within walking distance to a mall and train/bus station. The folks at the front desk were very helpful and nice (as well as speak English). My room was nice and quiet, the heat and air worked well and the breakfast each morning was fantastic. I'd recommend this hotel for business or pleasure, great staff.

Restaurant an unexpected bonus!
The hotel is comfortable although the room appointments are fairly basic. Functional but far from opulent. Nice quality shower. Good elevator with nice stair alternative. The staff were very welcoming, highly efficient and spoke excellent English. The parking was right at the front door, but the car park rather small. The restaurant, however, was an unexpected bonus. The fare was local and spectacular with the option of a 7 course tasting menu which we found to be of excellent quality. The meal was perfectly paced and we never felt like we were rushed or kept waiting. The wine parings were well matched for every course. The breakfast was a buffet in the basement and also of excellent quality and with ample variety for most palates.

They got 2 main things wrong.
It's a good hotel: clean, convenient and well-appointed, but the let down for me is the same as with a lot of hotels. Inadequate lighting and an uncomfortable bed, made for a not-so-perfect stay. So many hotels like this one, only have bedside lamps and a light over the desk, but no main overhead light over the bed, to illuminate into every corner, and none in the areas where the suitcase stand is. I want to be able to see into my suitcase! The bed was hard with no soft mattress topper. A pillow-soft mattress topper is absolutely necessary for all hotel beds.

Bauerusher hof is one the best hotels in Erlangen
It's confortable hotel, service are good, I have one remark, for internet you need to update your acount each 3 days which is not convenient for long term stay, I suggest to create an account for the exact duration of the stay. Amine

Quietly professional - a rare find!
This is my second hotel stay in Erlangen and by far the better value for money. Having been traveling continuously for 36 hours, I found the staff friendly and caring. (I found emailing them directly rather than using the webmail produced results.) A comfortable walking distance of the train station, they would do well to advise the route on their website. Don't hesitate to try it.

Cool Hotel in Erlangen. Cool location!
The hotel is a 5-10 walk to the shops and restaurants of Erlangen. The hotel staff is full of class and speak English very well. Breakfast is excellent! Will definitely return on future business trips.

Friendly, competent, and professional desk staff of perfect English speakers (my only language). Excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms are clean and functional but very small. Room service menu is poor, very limited. Located quite near the city center

Three Weeks in Deutschland
We were visiting Erlangen because my husband had business there. We were familiar with the area having lived there for four years. The hotel staff were very competent and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Housekeeping was well done and the staff were very efficient and friendly. The location is ideal, being very close to the center of town. Our stay at the Bayerischer Hof was very pleasant.

Love the Bayerischer Hof......but.....................
We have stayed in Hotel Bayerischer Hof many times in the past 15 years. It is possible to walk to the main shopping areas. The rooms are very nice and clean and comfortable. AC's in the rooms have improved over the years. They are now mounted in the wall and not sitting on the floor. There are rooms with balconies. The breakfast is great. The rooms are not cheap, but that is partly because of the present dollar rate, which is not so good right now. My only complaint about the hotel is that they have redecorated the main lobby and bar area to modern and it just is not the same. We really enjoyed the old, antique furniture and old mideval look which is what you expect to see in Germany. We will stay there in the future, because of its location.

5階のシングルルームに泊まりましたが、とても古くて狭く、屋根裏部屋の様でした。下の階はきれだと思いますが、5階のシングルはお勧め出来ません。

das Hotel hat 2 Bauten. Der Hauptbau ist gut renoviert, die Rückgebäude ist nicht renoviert und deshalb nicht so schön Ich hatte ein Zimmer im Hauptbau und da war alles super
