I was so appreciative of the staff, who were friendly, informative and helpful. The manager sat down with me to figure out and purchase train tickets online, which took a while and yet she was cheerful and persevering (where I would have given up!) Thank you for a terrific stay!

Amazing hotel with an outstanding location. 10 minutes to just about anything in the old town area of Nuremberg. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would happily stay there again!

Beautiful Hotel in a Beautiful City
This was a gorgeous hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, the location is amazing, and the rooms were gorgeous. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Elch is a charming hotel in a fantastic location. You couldn’t be more centrally located for the major tourist attractions in Nuremberg’s Alstadt. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly

Great hotel, good location for Christmas markets, shopping and castle. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean. Breakfast is good also a fridge and a safe in the room but no tea/coffee making facilities. Overall a god hotel and would definitely stay again

Fantastic Stay
Such a cute boutique hotel right in the heart of old city Nurnberg. The room was so cute and there was a welcome sign with cute treats. Those little touches make all the difference. The room was extremely clean and the air conditioner worked amazing. I would highly recommend the breakfast!

A great hotel in a wonderful location - surrounded by the old town and lots of nice restaurants and bars but just out of the main thoroughfares of the city so it’s not too busy. Staff were really helpful and friendly. It was all clean and well setup for COVID management etc. I will be back!

Wonderful Hotel Elch
The Hotel Elch is delightful! It is perfectly situated for walking to many of Nuremberg’s wonderful Old Town sites. The breakfast was great and the staff are friendly and so helpful with restaurant advice and so on. We had a lovely stay.

For visiting the sites of Nuremberg, the location can't be beaten. The hotel is literally one street over from the street most guide books consider as a must-see/must-photograph. For us, having an air conditioned room (rare in many Germany hotels,) inexpensive surcharge parking (in the city Centrum,) and an inexpensive pet (dog) fee were all selling points. We were pleased with everything. The shower in our upgraded room was still very tight for large people.

Perfect location for a Nurnberg getaway with friendly and helpful staff. Close to everything inside the old city walls. Hotel has been updated and the rooms are spacious and modern. Would recommend.

My room (#117) is soooo beautiful. It's nice and spacious and has a cool view out the window up the street to the church on the hill. The door is clean and modern, without being cold. You walk through a hallway with closets to get the bathroom, making it even more comfortable and spacious to store your stuff outside of the bedroom. The TV works great and is comfortable to watch from the bed; it's on a rotating arm, so I could also watch it from the chair. It has about 5 English channels, so I could keep caught up on news. The checkin process was quick and easy. Each room has its own temperature control (separate in the bathroom and bedroom), so I am able to keep the room cozy on a rainy night.

Nice location and design of room
Overall stay was very nice, the room looks exactly the same as the photo provided by the website. The room located right across from the office but entrance to the room (hallway, stairs, and elevator) is dark. Bathroom is relatively small. Location is great though.

Good clean hotel in a great location for exploring
Nice hotel, great location, big rooms. The double beds are on separate bases so they slide apart which was a little annoying. Bathrooms are a little bland for the style of the hotel.
