We got in late and night and were delighted to find free street parking right behind the hotel, though we learned they also have a garage for busier times. The staff were welcoming and helpful with our clumsy command of the language, and our room was completely clean and comfortable.
I saw tough reviews that the space needs updating, but I felt like the hotel was classy for its great upkeep of older tile and decor. They had an antique shoe-shining machine near the elevators and I wish we'd explored more for gems like this.
Our favorite part was the breakfast buffet with many kinds of bread, jam and honey, muesli, eggs, salami and cheese, juice and coffee. I'm so glad it began at 6am before our flight home.
