No airport shuttle service!

Posted May 20, 2015
Beware travelers! This hotel does not offer shuttle service to the airport (they have a bus but only available for pilots!). Cost us $25.00 each way by taxi. All the other hotels in the area offer FREE shuttle to airport. Restaurant food was disappointing and staff not welcoming. Wi Fi costs were extra. No complimentary breakfast. Would not recommend this hotel.

Thank you for your feedback . We wish to inform you, that the shuttle bus is contracted through Lufthansa and has only the Lindner Logo for Commercial reason on the side. Further more, the closest hotel offering a shuttle service to the airport is 13km away in the direction towards the airport, meaning that the other hotels in this area do not offer a free shuttle. We also offer free WIFI with a free membership of the Lindner Nights Card and are glad to assist you with that if you return to us. However, not feeling welcome and the food beeing disappointing, is not acceptable and we deeply apologize for the inconveniences. Kindest regards Peter Wirbelauer Front Office Manager

From the moment we arrived we received 100% attention. the room is big, the bathroom as supposed to be. the only drawback is no ramp for handicapped people from the garage to the hotel.

Hotel in Hochst area close to river.

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The Staff seemed very helpful and efficient- very kind with young babies.
Cons: The price of breakfast is exorbitant .
Location: Not known as we were attending a wedding.
Only there for weekend ; room comfortable but no central space to relax and comfortably sit chatting with friends and family other than the bistro/ cafe area and the public reception area.

The best option around Hochst Haupbanhof

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: English-speaking staff; air-conditioning; non-smoking floors; and that there was a restaurant -- just in case! A bit overpriced, but available!
Cons: The T.V. selection was a bit lacking, and the room smelled. Additionally, there should have been a guest book of information available in the room.
Location: Nearby is Konigsteiner Strasse, a small street with bakeries, a grocery, cafes, a post office, a bank, and discount shops. Save money: eat there!
The room I rented was called a "first-class" room, and I was glad that I went through Expedia rather than directly with the hotel company, as the savings was huge! And, I would have felt really ripped off otherwise. The first-class room for us was non-smoking, had two single beds, and two simple lounge chairs. It was the size of an average American hotel outside of a major city. The bathroom was an adequate size as well. On their Web site, it stated that the mini-bar was complimentary for first-class rooms; this was not the case. Also, there was no guest information book in the room, so it was hard to find out what the hotel offered. And, the room smelled a bit musty every time we entered despite leaving on the air conditioner. Furthermore, someone else's body hair was in the in the shower. Ick. Having said all of that, my flight arrived very early in the morning, and the clerk allowed me to check-in as soon as my room was ready. I really appreciated this kindness.

Nice hotel, terrible food

Posted Jan 29, 2014
This is a perfectly nice, reasonably-priced business hotel not too far from FRA airport and with good public transport connections to the city centre. The rooms are large, well-equipped and comfortable. The only downside is the food. The "Bavarian" restaurant has poor service and even worse food (my colleague from Munich agreed that they would not get away with serving this standard of food in his home town). We tried it 2 nights in a row and both experiences were dismal. Luckily there are a number of decent restaurants within walking distance.

Comfortable hotel, minor disappointments.

Posted Jul 25, 2013
Pros: The restaurant, room cleanliness, staff friendliness, and large bathroom in the room.
Cons: Some of the added fees for this hotel seemed over priced and the heat of the room was very inconvenient.
Location: There was not much to do as far as tourism, staff had good recommendations regarding good, nearby restaurants, and the airport is about 15 minuets awa
We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Unfortunately a good majority of the lobby was under renovation so it was very loud in the hotel. The facility in general was very nice with very secure parking. (Downside: the parking is very expensive.) Make sure to check ALL the extra fees for this hotel (WIFI, parking, breakfast, etc...). The rooms in this hotel were very clean and well presented. They also had our roll-away bed in the room and made when we arrived which was a pleasant surprise. The only thing we could really complain about was the AC in the room. We do think ours was functioning properly, but we couldn't tell for sure. We did have to leave our door to the hallway open and our window open to have a steady air flow. Even with the minor inconveniences, in general the hotel was a pleasant stay.

OK, but I'd try a different hotel next time.

Posted May 18, 2013
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Being in a smoking room, having to pay a silly amount for breakfast and not having internet access included.
Location: Within walking distance of the industrial park, but other hotels are slightly closer.
As a non-smoker it was obvious to me that I was in a smoking room - other than that the hotel was fine barring the usual costs of wireless internet (10 euros a day) and breakfast (over 20 euros) which I feel should be included in the price. It always seems the case that the more expensive the hotel the less you get by way of included options. I would stay there again if needed, but I'd probably try some other local hotels first to see if it was the best option.

We usually have a great choice of non smoking rooms and would like to point out, that we offer free wireless with a free membership ofthe Lindner Nights Card. We hope that you will give us another chance to show you that for your stay in frankfurt, we are the right choice to stay. Kindest regards Peter Wirbelauer Front Office Manager

Posted Apr 29, 2013
Pros: Friendly and professional Staff
Location: Close to local train station for easy connections into the country
I arrived very late from the airport and the evening staff were very welcoming and dealt with all my questions with patience as I was away early in the morning
