We had to cancel our stay 4 days prior to arrival due to a family tragedy. We were denied any refund because we had already changed the date once before.

They really need to have a kettle to heat water, they sell one Bottled water for 4 Euros, rooms were cold for the weather and couldn’t locate the thermostat and apparently it was not there. Junkies and Crackers were right at the door of the hotel, the first expression really scared me, but for me overall passed safe…

Comfortable room, close to the Hauptbahnhof.
Great location - close to the Hauptbahnhof. Great room, clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that this is supposedly a non smoking hotel, but my room smelled like cigarettes. I understand the hotel has little control when guests break the rules, but perhaps a deeper clean could have been done.

The room was spacious and clean (except for a spider nest on the ceiling in a corner of the shower). Your room key was an actual key with a bulky key chain. It was totally inconvenient and very difficult to use to open the door. You had to make sure to manually lock the door with the key once inside. There wasn’t a coffee maker in our room. While I like soap dispensers, at least provide wash clothes for body gel use in the shower. We were in a back room by an alley and there were noises - people and machines - until 4 am. The biggest upset was the price. The room was astronomically expensive. I would have expected better accommodations for that price. Breakfast was extra and decent. Certainly not the best breakfast I’ve had in Germany but not the worst.

Hotel is fine. I have stayed here many times and will do so again. It is very good value for a large city hotel. Area immediately around hotel is a bit dodgy, but the hotel is conveniently located across the street from the main train station.

Proper tea!
Breakfast was good(proper english tea available!)Situation handy for station and not far from centre. There were a lot of druggies around the station but just go right out the door and they don't bother you! The staff were friendly and helped me print out my boarding pass. Nice bar, reasonably priced.Room huge with windows on two sides. TV had english speaking channels. Bathroom excellent.

The hotel is in a shady neighbourhood, homeless people and drug dealers basically at the hotel entrancd. Hotel itself is very basic, room as well, small fridge, no safety box, not even a kettle in room. Relatively quiet at night. Acceptable for a 1-night stay alone, for anything else I'd go elsewhere.

Dear Marek,we are sorry that your stay was not as good as it should be. Every Room has a safety Box. After you enter the room on the right side was your wardrobe, with the safety Box in it. Also kettles are available at the reception for free. You just have to leave a deposit for it. Hey everyone! Just wanted to share my experience at this hotel. Overall, it was a great stay, but I have to mention that the Wi-Fi was super slow. It was a bit frustrating when trying to get some work done or stream videos. Hopefully, they can improve that in the future. 😕📶

The bathroom sink leaked. There was no convenient parking. It is in the heart of the drug area and we had crackheads singing under our window at 2am. Definitely not family friendly and definitely NOT what they advertise.

Nice hotel, bad area
The hotel is nice, and staff was pleasant. Rooms were good, though bathrooms were pretty dated and have a high step-over into tub to take a shower. Most rooms (we had 3 for our group) were quite spacious. Quality of air conditioning varied by room, but 2 of our 3 rooms never fully cooled off in ~30*C outdoor temps. There is a nice breakfast offering included, too. The area, while convenient to the train station, felt far from safe, and there isn't much immediately available. While distances could be easily walkable to the more central area of the city, this is not something I would recommend. Fortunately there is a tram stop within a half-block of the hotel, but even that short distance felt incredibly sketchy to get through each time.

The person at the front desk was nice. However, the property is old--built in the 1960s and so it is dirty, smelly, no elevator to the top floor--had to take luggage from 5th floor up to our floor by stairs. The area around the hotel is the worst I have ever seen--very unsafe. There was a loud nock at the door at 10:50 asking us to leave--even though the check out is at 11:00 -- Extremely rude! Will never stay there again.

Although the staff at the property were fine and the room adequate for one night, I would not recommend this place to families or single women. The area around the property is populated by drug addicts and drunks and smells terrible; there are sex shops on the street adjoining. The merchants and residents in the area need to get the city to help them clean up this area! The rooms are adequate (and the a/c worked!) but very basic and not updated.

The services of fitness advertised at booking site was closed since Covid 2020. The laundry was expensive that one could buy new quality dress with washing cost, the room Cleaning service was bad just organized comforters. The front counter customer service was excellent.

Convenient location but avoidable.
The hotel is in the train station area, and outside the hotel there are many druggies. The hotel staff itself is quite nice. I had asked for a non smoking room, but when I opened the door it was reeking of smoke. I wouldn’t return for that reason alone.

The hotel is very nice and the room was perfect for us to stay a night and take a train the next morning. The breakfast was delicious and a good price. The ONLY bummer is the area around the hotel is super shady. There are many people on the streets doing drugs. The hotel was a breath of fresh air after walking through the nasty streets.
