Very nice hotel , food was good, rooms clean. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. One VERY disappointing aspect was the service staff, B Singh, specifically. Zero personality and very rude. Interacted twice asking for ice and treated my adult daughter with attitude and front desk staff had to intervene as well. Not a good look for hotel.

The hotel was great and perfect location for an overnight stay in Route to Italy. They provided us with a crib for our baby and the room was super clean and had everything we need. The hotel breakfast was also great so definitely recommend adding that!

Very mixed experience. Regardless of the few positive ones, I will probably not return. Main issues: air conditioning in the room was not operational on extreme heat summer days of outside temperatures between 32 to 37 degrees Celsius. Unacceptable! Front desk was not very helpful: they offered a small fan, which I accepted. It is an old hotel that is maintained clean, but the old infrastructure is an issue. Smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway while the hotel is non-smoking. Ashtray on the table in the balcony. Why? Supplies in the bathroom are minimalistic, rather non existent. No cream/body lotion and nothing. Reception in the evening unhelpful. No lotion until the morning as no housekeeping staff on duty. Senior management should review cost savings policies as you will be loosing guests (me for sure)! Mini fridge unplugged to save energy. Positive: swimming pool was nice. Front office staff in the morning did a gesture and extended my check out until 1:00pm without extra charge, so that I can use the pool, which was reserved and unavailable for guests for a few hours (which is also odd) that day.

I like this hotel. It's one of the best places to stay in Darmstadt. The beds are comfortable and they offer different kinds of pillows, which I appreciate. I also enjoyed the swimming pool.
