Pretty bog standard hotel, mostly for just having somewhere to sleep, but where the excel is great customer service who went above and beyond to help me. Top lads.

Clean, bare-bones, comfortable
Clean, bare-bones hotel in a great neighborhood – comfortable bed, super easy location, no frills but everything you need as a traveler who is not going to spend a ton of time in your room anyway. (If you are, there's a desk, it's well-lit, the windows open for fresh air – it's plenty comfortable.) Feels a little like '60s apartment building repurposed into a hotel. Also, I was confused about if there was parking from the description but there IS parking on-site for a small fee. Recommended because parking is tough in the neighborhood.

We LOVED the location, everything we needed was a wonderful walk. Our room had a small kitchen and there's a grocery store right next store. The staff was super nice! Daniel mapped our everything for me and I loved walking through Frankfurt. We are definitely going back, it's 15 mins from the airport and 10 to the University hospital and a 20 minute stroll over the bridge to downtown Frankfurt. I LOVED it!!

Convenient in many ways
Helpful staff, spacious & clean room with full kitchen!! Hotel is next to a supermarket, also very near bus stop for the airport bus. Very convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was good for the price. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and the location was good for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Light sleepers should know the there is a railway beside the hotel that can never loud at times. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

LOCATION
Location is very good, Frankfurt Sachsenhausen offers a lot of restaurants and you are at a walking distance to the downtown. It is a bit noisy due to freight trains passing close to the hotel throughout the night.

It was, perhaps, our good fortune that we chose to visit Frankfurt when the Design Fair was in town. All the 'posh' hotels we tried to book were full, or asking ridiculous prices. The Senator Hotel was conveniently placed for transport links into the centre. The Tram stop was no more than 5 mins away, with trams every 10 minutes during the day and a journey time into the centre of about 15 mins. The room was basic but clean. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom small but more than adequate and a very powerful shower. Our fear when we arrived, and having read some reviews on Trip Advisor, was that the nearby railway would be noisy. This proved not to be the case, even to the extent that when we opened the window during the night for some air we were not disturbed. There is a kitchenette in the room use of which, according to the literature, is charged at €19 per day. We chose not to use it for this reason, although we did keep some bottles of water in the fridge. Apart from checking-in, we neither saw nor needed to speak to any staff during our stay so I cannot comment on the customer service levels. Overall this hotel served our purposes very well. It would not necessarily be the ideal destination for a romantic treat, but as good value accommodation, it did its job well.

This hotel was on almost all levels more than what I expected for the money, what let it down was that check-out was 11am, yet I was interupted twoce before this time with attempts to clean my room.

Convenient located hotel
The Senator Hotel is in the heart if Sachsenhausen, in the middle of two suburban train stations plus very close to local transport stops. The rooms are nice despite the fact that it reminds me a bit of a youth hostel. Definitely I can recommend the hotel for a overnight stay for someone that does not look for a cosy room but for a clean friendly place to stay.

Average, no frills hotel at a reasonable price. The room smelled like cigarette smoke but they did offer on site parking which was a big plus. A good place to stay if you are only staying one or two nights.

Great hotel
We primarily chose this hotel for it's location, as it's close to family we were visiting. Very pleased with the hotel. Clean, comfortable, and good location. Near to shops, cafes and restaurants. Train noise can be heard but not enough to bother us. Wifi was patchy in places, but it's free so can't complain. Was very useful to have a fridge in the rooms, to keep drinks cool and store food if you wish.

Clean comfortable hotel
Senator hotel is south of the river, a 5 minute walk from the nearest U Bahn station, it's almost quicker to walk over the river to get to the city. The only issue for some might be its proximity to the railway line. I'm a deep sleeper so no issue for me but if you demand absolute silence at night this probably isn't the hotel for you. A good clean hotel. Book ahead if you are travelling to Frankfurt. My stay coincided with an exhibition fair and all hotel rates rise when demand is high.

ein schönes sauberes Zimmer. Im Bad ist ein Föhn, was ich sehr gut fand, da ich meinen vergessen hatte. Für den Parkplatz hinterm Haus wurden 10€ berechnet. Man kann sein Auto aber auch kostenlos vorn auf die Straße stellen. Für meinen ersten Besuch in Frankfurt war mir das zu unsicher. Was ich etwas unverschämt finde, ist , das man für's WLAN zahlen muss.
