a modern honest hotel

Pros: Cracking bunch of staff, both the guys and gals. Fabulous breakfasts & Spotlessly clean.
Cons: A proper bar, just makes that after dinner meet back in the lobby a little bit more special, even more so with a decent whiskey in hand?
Location: Apart from the convention centre, plenty of good restuarants, Greek, Croation, German, all good with great staff. Avoid Chinese opposite Tryp Wyndham.
OK, so I was there on business, and this hotel did all that was required, with a reasonable price to match. Travelled into the city from Ryanairs hilarious Frankfurt Hann.......by coach, then tube from main station to the Messe exbo centre. Super quick tube back from there to the hotel, very easy.

Close to Messe Frankfurt but a bit dodgy

Pros: Room size and proximity to Messe Frankfurt
Cons: Staff friendliness
Location: Nothing to do nearby. Must go about two or more stations over to get good food. We did go over the bridge and there seems to be a lot more to do.
It is literally one station from messe frankfurt if you are attending the shows. Hotel is relatively clean and rooms are bigger than others. However, I felt very unsafe outside the hotel. There were questionable people hanging outside and no immediate places to eat nearby. Hotel staff were incredibly rude. There was a woman who kept repeating herself yelling at me because I couldn't understand what she was saying. I asked for wifi password and she said ...zette like zoo (alphabet Z is pronounced Zette there) and I said you mean Z like Zebra? she yelled NO, Z like Zoo! I said Zebra also has Z. She said, NO! Z like Zoo. went went back and forth like that for a few minutes. Kinda amusing in retrospect. I am not sure it is cultural but staff were not friendly at all. I traveled from Paris a few days prior and if I say french people were a lot nicer, that says a lot of about the staff in this hotel.

Nice, modern and perfect location for the Messe.

Pros: Clean, modern, good breakfast and nice staff.
Cons: More outlets in rooms, better wifi, and more furnishings, like a luggage rack.
Location: Great location to the Messe.
The TRYP's location makes this hotel. It's 1 stop from the Messe and very easy to get to. The furnishings are Spartan and modern and the entire hotel is very clean. You won't see much in the way of comforts, as all furnishings are Ikea, but it meets basic needs. I'd recommend and stay here again. It's not quite a 4 star, but in Frankfurt, this is one of the better places to stay and a distance from the seedier neighborhoods. Wifi was pretty awful during my stay, but that may be due to a fully booked hotel. All in all, worth the stay.

Decent clean hotel close to the Messe

Pros: The location close to the train station was good - a one stop journey to the Messe.
Cons: The in-room wifi signal wasn't very good so I kept losing my connection. There was noise from the vacuum in the hall very early in the morning.
The hotel was a convenient location for getting to the Messe (one stop on the S-bahn) and was quite clean and pleasant, although kind of a no-frills experience, with only one towel per room, and not a large one at that. The bed was actually very comfortable and once I got used to how small the room was, it was absolutely fine. I had to ask for more hangers (I only had 2), but they brought them to my room. It felt quite expensive for what we got (there's no bar or anything in the hotel).

Good hotel, good location

Very good hotel, nice and convenient location. Very helpful staff. Only problem is unstable Wi-Fi connections. They need to do something about it.

Good hotel for business trips

Stayed there for 3 nights, the first impression about the service was great. But i've asked about WakeUp call and they forgot, i do believe that it was a mistake but it costed me time and i was late. Overall decent hotel, in nice area and good price.

Very clean hotel close to public transport

Greatly enjoyed my stay at Tryp in Frankfurt. Room was very clean and staff very friendly and accomodating. Also having included wifi was a bonus. Overall very happy with my stay here and I highly recommend it

Well located economy hotel

Pros: Space, location and good breakfast service
Cons: A lot. The hotel needs a major reno. With the Messe and Achema show, hotel pricing was stratospheric for what you got. In this respect I was fleeced.
Location: Use it for Messe attendance
This hotel as 3 strong points: its proximity to the messe - so you can walk there, the rooms are large by German standards so you have space, and it has very good transport connections. As a bonus a very decent breakfast service. There are major drawbacks included: its in a working class neighbourhood, its very noisy and busy, there is no restaurant service in the hotel and no decent ones close by. And the hotel really needs a major reno job and soon. Lastly, if you are used to traveling under the Wyndham brand in North America - which I am - this is a surprisingly different experience for the all the reasons above noted. Generally Tryp can work but its simply not consistent with Wyndham's North American branding - so its confusing. Under North American standards - this is a 2 star hotel - point finale.
