Disappointed guest

The hotel location is great and next to Zail street The check in staff was not helpful and disappointed me and made my stay uncomfortable as I had one request to have a shower in the room instead of bath tub but unfortunately they didn't afford it to me and they didn't explain it in a proper way that they don't have any availability and no one at the hotel during my stay for 3 nights tried to say we are SORRY. Also the hotel charge extra fees for quite rooms (€20 per night) only to have room at the back.

Unfortunately our hotel has only 3 rooms with a shower only functional bathroom, all our other rooms do have the bathtub / shower combination which you have found in your Executive room #649. I took that information already on your profile, to make sure our front office team can take actions prior your next arrival to assign a room with a separate shower for you. As well our Reservations Manager Ms. Kirsten Stollenwerk will reach out to Expedia to fix the wording on their website, that nobody else will face such a misunderstanding again in the future. Super Clean Bathrooms

The bathroom and room was super clean and comfortable which I appreciated, the hotel is in a walking distance to everything, the shopping center, Metro, good food and the icing on the cake, we actually walk straight down the street to the River Main for the boat tour, we didn't have to pay for taxis. Just walked to everything. Great location!!!

Great hotel in a great location.

Great hotel in a great area. Right by center of town. Two minute walk from underground and tram stations. 30 minutes by taxi from Airport. 10 minute walk to the river and Dom (tower). Plenty of food and entertainment walking distance. Room is large (in European standards) and is fully equipped with a shower/tub combo, minibar, TV, WiFi (free for IHG members), iron and board. Plenty of sockets to charge your gizmos. Nice (but costly) breakfast buffet. Nice Gym, well equipped and well maintained, but may be busy at "rush hour" and sometimes amenities (towels, water cups) are gone. Nice bar and lobby. Spent a few days at a conference in venue, but rates were reasonable for tourism too.

Lovely hotel

Excellent stay at the Westin. Staff are friendly and helpful and rooms are extremely comfortable. Good beds, pillows and luxurious under-floor heating in the bathrooms. I would highly recommend staying here.

The location was excellent, all the shops & resturants were nearby, the staff treatment was hard, Because of late flight I requested a late checkout they only gave me tell 1 pm and locked my card after that time

Underwhelmed and often disappointed.

Pros: Location
Cons: Service was sadly disappointing. No available lobby coffee, and the breakfast is 33 Euro!
The hotels lacks a "service philosophy". It really seems that everyone of their guests is viewed as an additional income opportunity, and not a guest. Breakfast is 33 Euro, check-in is an opportunity to charge you more for upgrades, the sauna costs 8 euro, the 6 oz coffee from the restauarant self service machine is $3.5 euro, etc etc etc... I love the idea that a business can earn more revenue from upgrades etc, but not at the expense of service. I'm sure I wouldn't even be writing this if I hadn't been treated so rudely at every turn. (Especially from the bitter breakfast restaurant maitre'de, who watched over me and then pushed me away after only wanting coffee) I spend 120 nights a year in hotels globally, and this is one of my worst experiences. The only saving grace is the bellman team who were always gracious. There are other hotels who are willing to earn your business through service.

Excellent Location

Pros: The location
Cons: Nothing, very satisfied!
Location: Dec. is the best time to visit Frankfurt and enjoy the Christmas markets and all cheer within the city.
My stay could not have been any better, the hotel staff was very helpful and the service too! The hotel is centrally location to all the major site within the city. I highly recommend this hotel!
