Expected a better experience for the price
My stay was fair. Location was great. Breakfast was only average and poor for the price. There was only one small bottle of drinking water provided for my entire 3 night stay. The cost of drinking water from reception was excessive.I stay in Darmstadt frequently for business and have had better experiences nearby.

Good quality Hotel
Stayed in this Hotel a few times when working in Darmstadt. Its just a Nice quality hotel in the centre with plenty of good food and and drink places in easy walking distance

No Fuss Hotel
Good hotel, AC was great in the 41degC heat that week. They didn't throttle it back at all. and it was also on all day so the room was nice an cool to come back to. Bed was comfortable in this no fuss hotel

It used to be our favorite hotel. This year it wasn’t all that great. They don’t have A/C just a ‘chiller’. The technician was super nice and explained this very well, which made it clear why the room stayed kinda sticky. The personnel is awesome and always helpful. We’re probably coming back as long as it’s not during the hot summer momths

Very friendly staff at reception and also in the breakfast room. Very clean rooms, and centrally located. Modern facilities. Good WiFi, which is crucial for hotel guests like me.

Walk in the park
Very ideal location to explore Darmstadt with a lovely park right out the back door. My room was a "view" room which overlooked the park but, unfortunately, this was also where truck deliveries were made and so enjoying the natural air through an open window also meant early morning noise. Despite this, I would chose this hotel again for my stay. Excellent! The airliner bus also stops right across the street for very easy transport from Frankfurt airport.

The room was comfortable, but also very noisy when people walking and talking on the floor. During our stay it seemed like some noisy hotel repair took place on saturday morning. Room cleaning need definitely improvement. There was, for a 3 night stay, only 1 small free of charge bottle of water in the room and no minibar.

Nothing Luxurious, but comfortable enough
The hotel is in the middle of the city. Very easy to find. Check in staff was very friendly. Room was clean and bed is comfortable. Not a luxury hotel, but ok for a short stay.

I’m overall very happy with our stay. Everything was in great condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I wish breakfast was included in the room price but it was available for additional cost. Next time I’m in Town I would definitely stay here again.

Asked for a non-skid mat for the shower. None arrived - handicappef person needed one. Had to request again. Staff not especially helpful for any additional needs. When I requsted an adaptor for USA plugs her response was, "I thought all Americans carried their own."

Value in Darmstadt
A real value. Hotel was clean, reasonably comfortable and convenient to everything you might want to do in Darmstadt (e.g., Wedding Tower and Mathildenhöhe; Makt Place, etc). Transportation is easily accessed. Staff can be a bit amateurish but they do not appear to have a large international clientele. All staff do speak English fluently. Room was good sized but curiously, with king size bed they provided 2 single size duvets.

I wanted to book a special place in Darmstadt for my husband's 60th birthday. The Welcone Hotel Darmstadt was very, very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great if you are visiting for a conference across the road. The Bistro didn't have enough staff for the amount of visitors.

Convenient, comfortable hotel, very helpful staff.
Stayed for conference and few days holiday. Very convenient location for my work trip and was pleasantly surprised to find great park and gardens at back of hotel and fabulous museum 2 minutes walk. Town for shopping was also just a few minutes away. Hotel was clean and comfortable with very helpful staff. I would love to stay again and would highly recommend it.
