Not so good

When I arrived at the Motel 6 in Franklin Indiana they had sold our room to someone else they had a single bed room left we opted to take that room or they would have refund our money we would have had to try to find another motel. I think I'll be contacting Expedia directly.

Nothing but basic

Upon checking in Angie was very professional and the front appearance of the hotel was clean. I was disappointed to find out that after approximately 4 months of making my reservation the pool was still not fixed and i felt that a compensation to my bill should have been made considering they advertise "indoor pool" however the services are not in working condition and I don't think they plan on getting it fixed. I was disappointed when entering the room to find it was laminate flooring and looked as if it needed swept. There was no armoire or dresser to store clothing in, no iron, no blow dryer and no coffee pot. A mini box fridge sat on the floor with a small microwave on too of it. If you wanted to utilize this, you had to get down on cold floor just to see in it. I was disappointed there was NO breakfast of any kind. How hard would it be to go down to the Super Walmart and buy a few dozen dounuts or muffins to set up!? One thing I can say is the bed was comfortable. If i come through IN again this will not be my choice.

Spartan rooms

No dresser for clothes, no easy chairs, just two kitchen chairs and a table. Nice fridge and TV. Bath in disrepair. Good for a cheap stay for a guy, but don’t bring your wife. Don’t expect much soap. No shampoo. No breakfast.

Great stay

Staff was excellent hotel pet friendly and very super close to a waffle house and great food by the way plus the Hoosier brew house is in walking distance great craft beers.

Staff needs to be more attentive. Pool advertised, however, closed and drained. Coffee advertised every morning, was available however only had 10 6 oz. cups, couple stirrers available, sugar and creamer in canisters. No variations, no napkins. Icemaker out of service, and panel fell off wall when door shut to our room. Panel covering bathtub pipes and drains, also pulled floor molding off when panel fell.

OK stay

I have been to many hotels in the past. This one looked good at first until I took a shower and saw what disrepair it was in.

Not good when they want a deposit when you pay cash! Didn't pay it either!

Most motels have a deposit on cash. I'm sorry if you were offended. But....we did wave the deposit for your stay. We just felt that there was no need for it in your case. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay. Best wishes, Angie Manager

Gencon 2017

This review is premised on paying half the cost of any other hotel in the area. If you want a five star experience, expect a six figure cost. The area is clean with several other hotels and plenty of chain restaurants around. Great lighting in the parking lot. I never felt unsafe in the area or hotel. The hotel itself is very dated but not falling apart. The tile floor was a surprise but no big deal. Bed was comfortable, TV/fridge/microwave/AC worked great, plenty of hot water. Biggest complaint was that the plumbing was noisy and sporadically ran, disrupting the night. Bring earplugs and you'll be fine. The real gem here is the hotel manager. She is a genuinely nice person to talk to and made check in and out a smooth process. When we needed a spare blanket, she was came off her break to get it to us. I'll remember her long after I forget the hotel.
