Acceptable: There were no bugs and my bed was clean and comfortable. I had plenty of hot water for a shower and the towels were typical motel towels. The tv worked and I was able to get ice and use the microwave and refrigerator. Since I had paid for 4 non-refundable nights, I stayed. Unacceptable: The bathtub faucet didn't just drip, it ran a steady little stream and no one ever fixed it. The floor of the bathtub felt a little spongy so I had to be careful not to slip. The metal piece on the side of the light fixture over the sink fell off while I was standing there. No one fixed it. The towels were changed, wastebaskets emptied, bed made every day, but I'm quite sure nothing was cleaned while I was there and the sheets were not changed. The pool was empty and would not be available for 2 weeks. The vending machines did not work. There was a note that management was not responsible for them, so I called the vendor and they sent me a coupon to replace the money I lost. The lobby of the motel smelled bad - like stale food. Made me want to stay out of it. The "continental breakfast" was totally unappealing: frosted flakes or fruit loops out of a large dispenser, milk out of a gallon jug, tiny muffins individually wrapped, everything just looked blah and questionable. Staff attitude was unfriendly and defensive. I pushed the buzzer at 6:50 AM to talk to them before I left. No one answered it and lobby was empty and locked though "breakfast" was supposed to start at 7.
