“On arrival, I was given a sheet of paper to fill in, but it was so badly printed that I could not read it! The room was spacious, with a walk in shower, kettle and tea and coffee. However, the wifi did not work for me, and the TV kept cutting out, but the bed was comfortable. In the morning, there was no water from the taps, so I could not use the lovely looking shower; I had to wash with water from the kettle, from the previous evening. I feel that the staff should have been warning guests...

“Having stayed a few times over the years we knew what to expect . As usual all the staff were helpful and cheerful. However we stayed in room 6 overnight on a very hot day and night so the room was very uncomfortably hot and made sleeping a problem. We did notice there was an air conditioning unit in the ceiling which was not operating and there was no way to control it. Very disappointing, it would have made a big difference on such a hot night. Nevertheless we look forward to our next stay,...

“My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast. The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine. The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip. The breakfast was superb.”

“The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door”

“Nice beds, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. However, the visit was spoiled by the malfunctioning air conditioning in the middle of summer. There was instead a plastic fan avaialble which perhaps proves that the staff were aware of of issue. They did offer to see if they could place us in another room but that would mean re-packing again in the middle of the night, so we just had to put up with it. Really uncomfortable night with a 3 year old!”

“We loved the individuality of the environment in the hotel with all of the decor in the rooms, especially the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had excellent choices and were beautifully cooked and presented. The evening meals were equally lovely. It has a nice outside seating area where you can enjoy a drink and a meal. “Wow! The most beautiful nights stay at The Peacock, the scenery, the room, the food, the staff. I didn't want to leave. I LOVED the little touches - the Peacock shortbread, the glass bottles for water/milk, bath salts. I've stopped in a lot of hotels and I have to say this stay beats them all. Perfect! Thanks so much.
