Close to highway there was little to no shampoo and conditioner the bottles were not refilled It is an older building but it was clean and breakfast options were good

We stayed in room 515. It was extremely difficult to get the right temperature in the shower water. It wasn’t working properly. As a result one day i showered with cold water and the next day with too hot water. The room had a weird smell. The breakfast options were bad - almond slices for the oatmeal were rancid. I have always considered Hampton Inn as my first choice due to the reliable quality but thia time we had an unpleasant stay.

I reserved 2 queen beds and upon arrival was told they only had a king, and nothing could be done about it. I’ve stayed there every time I visited Frederick and feel as if I should have been treated a little better.

No night driving
We needed a place to stay for one night on our way to Bellefonte PA, but we don't like a long night on the road so Frederick was a perfect stop. We find this brand comfortable and breakfast is a good start to the rest of our drive.

It looks like the management of this hotel has given up on maintenance and upkeep. Some many little details not in good condition, but worst of all my room had a big open space that looked like once had a dishwasher but now is just a big cavity next to the bed. Pretty rough

So the room were in had a microwave that not only didn't work but was in a different language, shower absolutely filthy, pubic hair on back of toilet seat, broken bed & 2 towels & no room cleaning but had the audacity to charge $165 a night. This is Hampton Inn not Super 8 Do Better. This hotel was packed for a Women's Conference & a big wedding party, also could not keep up.with breakfast, we ate out.

Choose your room wisely.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were courteous and friendly. The problem was the party outside of my window. At the rear of building, where my room was, there is a pool and fire pit, deck, party area. I heard the crowd for the first time around 10pm. It wasn't an issue until I turned the tv off at around 10:45, as I was trying to fall asleep all I heard was talking, outbursts of laughter and occasional yelling. I thought management would shut the party down by 11pm but it didn't end until 1am. I already have a hard time falling asleep so I probably didn't go to sleep until after 2am. If you do stay there ask for a room on the front on the building.

The property has a hallway under remodel and we were stuck in that hallway. Our room was filthy, lights burned out, one exploded in the bathroom. Front desk evening staff not trained and disinterested. No onsite maintenance for emergency situations. Overcharged for our room way above our expedia price.

It was convenient/close to the area we were visiting. Breakfast was good and woman kept everthing clean and well supplied. Some things we didn't like; entrance to hotel not clear. Room dusy and sweeper was clearly not run. Stairwell was very dirty.

Do they even care?
One woman at front desk didn't seem to know what she was doing. Maybe new to job. Nothing spectacular about stay. Toiletries were attached to the wall so high in the shower, I couldn't reach them. Apparently, this hotel only wants people over 6' staying there. I won't be back and maybe never to another Hampton Inn.

The staff are friendly. The rooms clean. The breakfast fresh and appetizing. My only complaint is the AC. The thermostat had to be turned to 62 to make the room cool. It was also very noisy!
