Pros: see above
Cons: all is what I would have expected.
Location: lots to do, but a bit of a drive to get to the scenic portions.
Staff were extremely accommodating, Room was comfortable and amenities just fine.

This is a Hilton?

Pros: The front desk staff were very personable and accommodating.
Cons: The bathroom hardware, e.g. bathroom tissue holders, shower head, definitely needs an overhaul.
Location: We were in Frederick for a wedding so didn't have the opportunity to visit other places.
The lobby area is pleasant and has comfortable seating. The front desk staff are welcoming and efficient. Beyond that, I struggle to find positives when considering our 3-day stay at this hotel. I expected more from a Hilton hotel, honestly. The room was adequate. The furniture was basic; the single chair and ottoman available wasn't very comfortable. The bed linens were okay and seemed freshly laundered. There were lots of plump pillows, always welcome to someone like me who sleeps surrounded by pillows. The bathroom was small. The bath linens were basic and not the quality I'd expect from a 3-star hotel but they were soft and absorbent. The Neutrogena products were a nice surprise, I'm a fan of that brand. The bathroom tissue holders (there were two) were made of metal that was pitted and unpleasant looking. One was broken and didn't latch properly so the tissue roll constantly fell off and rolled across the floor. An extremely noisy exhaust fan turned on with the overhead light and there was no way to turn it off. While there was plenty of hot water, it sputtered out of the shower head in a disappointing volume. Overall, our stay at this particular Hilton would discourage me from booking at another Hilton in the future. To be fair, we typically book hotels in the Marriott family so I can't compare this Hilton to others. The Hilton brand is a respected one so perhaps our luck was bad with the Frederick Hilton.

Terrific hotel centrally located in Frederick, MD

Initially there was some confusion about the type of room we reserved but the staff were quick to resolve the issue and get us the right type of room. The room was clean and neat and the breakfast was great. The chef was outstanding and he quickly served up delicious omelettes, made to order and great blueberry pancakes. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to our friends and family!

Very Nice Stopover

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Close to shopping, restaurants, and expressway. Pool was great, especially for kids after being coupled up in the car all day!

Terrible check in Called hotels.com to add a night to one previously booked online Efficiently printed out receipt with checkin and check out dates however 'Toni' had never contacted the Hilton nor updated and sent the update to Hilton's system Standing in the lobby had to call again myself then wait while 'Meghan' called the accounting dept Fortunately a very helpful manager at the Hilton allowed the room but most inconvenient and in a way embarrassing. I will not use Hotels.com again.
