Location: it was sunday, everything was close downtown

I stayed in the handicapped room because it was the first one that was ready since I arrived early. The hotel management was very accommodating in that respect. The handicapped room was larger than most of the rooms and had a small couch. The one thing I'd suggest changing are the curtains so that they cover the window completely - I used a clothespin to close the gap. You could hear all the outside noises, but I tune that out, so it was OK.

ACCEPTABLE YET NOT GOOD

LIMITED PARKING, OK BEDS, NICE SIZE OF ROOM, BUT ROOMS DID HAVE A FUNNY SMELL. THERE'S BETTER HOTELS FOR THE PRICE THEY CHARGE.

Hill country ride

Very clean and comfortable. The pool was locked up. Disappointing because I had planned a relaxing afternoon by the pool. The breakfast is minimal.

Pros: The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was a welcome addition
Location: Both Kerrville and the somewhat close Fredricksburg seemed like real nice communities. The Cowboy Steak House in Kerrville was excellent.
Nothing fancy here, but the room had a couch, along with a nice size refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable. Shower worked well.

The room was clean, cool and comfortable. We were only there at night so it was just what we needed.

Excellent value

We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a room with 2 king beds in a slightly quieter area of the hotel. Hotel staff was friendly and the free breakfast was enjoyable. Would stay here again.
