Staff was completely rude. I attempted to cancel and they would not reimburse me. I asked to check in early and was denied. I waited until 3 and tried again when they still said my room was unavailable but I saw multiple other families check in. The staff was very rude and offered no accommodation for me while I waited to check in well after three PM which forced me to leave and go to another hotel because I needed a shower and to prepare for a wedding. Terrible. Awful and I don’t wish this service on anyone.

Everyone was so pleasant. After a hard day of vacationing the pool and hot tub were relaxing. The hotel is close to everything. A very good location.

Rates charged for the eclipse were exhorbitant as expected. The facility was a slightly revamped motel at a convenient riverside location. Should have been cleaner and the shower was tepid early in the morning

It’s a hard property for me to review. Positives: front desk people were excellent, friendly and helpful. The pool area was very pleasant and well maintained. The location was excellent, easy to walk to downtown. Negatives: the rooms were tired and could have been cleaner. The towels need replacing. I probably would not stay here again.

The pool area and outdoors areas here are fabulous. Our room - not so much. Couch uncomfortable and the shower door didn't work well. Also, issues with soap and shampoo dispensers.

Lonnie the front desk agent was so very pleasant, informative, and knew the area around. I've not come across someone with his positive attitude in a while. The hotel is quite lucky to have such front desk service . When I checked out front desk staff did a good job. Thanks Fredricksburg Inn & Suites!! Our first time ever in German Town! This was a great stay. The hotel is one block from Main Street shopping. There’s no parking near the shops so it’s easy to park at the hotel and just walk. Full breakfast in the mornings. Great heated pool with hot tub next to a separate volleyball pool. Ping pong table. Outdoor TV. Fire pit away from the pool with the view of a nice creek on the property. Beautiful views. Totally updated motel with plantation shutters on windows and ambient lighting. Comfortable beds with soft pillows and comforters. Highly recommend. Also have wine and snacks available for purchase when you’re relaxing by the pool. Very friendly staff.

Property was beautiful and well kept, the pools were clean and in good condition, the linens in the room were fresh and clean. The front desk attendant, Sharon, was helpful and polite. I plan on staying here in the winter to see the town near Christmas.
