Never saw a employee, and pool water was very cloudy. A/C in room would not cool below 75 deg. Breakfast with powdered eggs and horrible sausage. Expected better from newly remodeled hotel.

Pros: The beds were very comfortable.
Cons: Staff up front that know what they are doing. Also - keep napkins and everything out when it is breakfast time.
Location: Fredericksburg, Tx. Lots of wineries there.
The clerk behind the desk took literally 15 minutes to check us out. She obviously didn't know what she was doing. She said "I've only been here 2 weeks, sorry!" She tried to go get someone in the back but then said "I can't interrupt, they are in a meeting." She needs to be told that customers come first. It was really quite ridiculous. She still couldn't give me a statement of everything. She was so confused.

I am sorry about the front desk clerk. And her not willing to get help from the other workers. Even if I was in a meeting I would gave my guest what they need. She has figured out that this field is not for her.I do hope that you give us another chance. We are sorry for the experience you had with us.

The Hill Country

The staff was great and the room was everything we needed for an overnight stay. The building looked new and just a couple blocks from Walmart. Fredericksburg has great shopping and lots of variety for meals.

Great hotel right out of town. Off hwy290.

Thanks to the staff, of Angela an Phill an rest of the staff. They will take care of what u need . very nice hotel well kepted,clean place. Very restful ,enjoyed the hot tub after a day of wine hopping.

mg kids and i are hapoy and comfortable on the space we stayed.ig was just a bit noisy because our room is just beside the laundry area and somehow a machine running which is distracting when you sleep. some floor mat near the head part of thw bed is wet as well. Breakfast is bit not satisfactory.

Clean, Convenient, Friendly

For a chain motel in a tourist town that probably gets tons of traffic, this la Quinta was very clean and comfortable. Front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. We were just there for a quick one night stay for a wedding and this was a simple and easy place to stay.

One of the better hotels in Fredericksburg

Pros: Everything except the breakfast. Great bed. Nice shower. Very quiet.
Cons: The breakfast.
Location: Location negative was too far from the downtown action. Location positive was easy to find coming into town from the East, plus it was very quiet.
We stayed one night to evaluate it before committing for another for our three day visit. Everything went well, for example, the shower was hot and good pressure, the bed was surprisingly comfortable, it was VERY quiet and the room was pleasant. Only disappointment was the free breakfast; it was very basic and simple with few selections. Plan on going out for a good breakfast if that's important to you. I do want to say that the front desk lady was most helpful in booking us another night not requiring us to check out and return later. She was great at recommending restaurants and which wineries were best to visit.
