A quick trip to FBG required a hotel, this one was in my price. range for am overnight stay. I loved it. The staff was friendly and inviting. The rooms were well kept and exactly all one needs to get a good rest. As a once local, I was pleased with the high quality experience at a decent price.

Stated it had full breakfast. They had scrambles eggs, sausage, bread, cereal, fruit, and bagels. No bacon. They had milk, juice, and coffee, and muffins. Disappointed in breakfast.

Overcharged us!

We were traveling with relatives and I booked through Expedia the night before arrival and paid for 2 rooms with my credit card. When we arrived, we were told Expedia only booked one room and our friends had to pay for another room.. I had confirmation for two rooms in my phone but Manager said Expedia only paid them for one. I complained and was later was told by manager that she had taken care of the problem. I still have a charge on my credit card account for two rooms and our traveling companions do also. I will not stay at this motel in future nor will I prepay services like EXPEDIA just to be taken advantage of!

Present situation is very clear that Expedia only collected prepaid one room. Even though our own bookings were fully booked we provided the guest with second room almost the same rate, though that weekend the rate was more higher. Inexpensive, quiet hotel.

Pros: Quiet and clean
Location: At the edge of town, but still easily accessed. Friedhelm's Bavarian Gasthaus is just across the road. Downtown is within easy walking distance..
The hotel provided everything I needed; a bed, a shower, quiet location, and not too far from downtown.. It is a little bit older than the chain hotels in town, but its also much less expensive.

Close to downtown

It was a pretty pleasant experience! Room is quite clean, standard breakfast. Staff is very nice!

Room and bathroom were dirty. No refrigerator! Maid forgot to clean our room and no clean towels!!! Elevator stopped working. Overall...just a bad experience!

Good for short stay

Good $ for a short night. (About $60) Wifi only worked in lobby, tv only had one channel. Dark room though, no desk lamps. Carbs only for breakfast. Room was clean, 2 min from main street.

Don't expect wifi.

The Wifi on the second floor and was non-existent. They claimed someone would fix it, but there was nothing done all weekend.
