"Comfortable and convenient"
I liked the hotel. I've stayed at several ihotels in the area and this was quiet nice. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. My only complaint was the awful breakfast buffet - coffee wasn't hot, yoghurt was runny, eggs were tasteless, and the potatoes were worse! Luckily there are several places nearby to purchase a decent breakfast.

Pocket Guide: Northern Virginia Fredericksburg Carlson Hotels

The colonial past thrives in Fredericksburg and Spotsylvannia and Stafford counties. Visitors can tour George Washington’s boyhood home at Ferry Farm, site of the myth of Washington and the cherry tree. Heavily damaged in the Civil War, Spotsylvannia’s Old Courthouse has county records from 1720. The United States National Slavery Museum marks a shameful chapter in American history.
