Xmas lunch in Copenhagen

Posted Dec 13, 2017
Pros: Kind of close to the city centre. Peppernuts in the reception and the receptionists good service
Cons: Just read my review
Thought it would be a quick check in, but then you had to fill out a long paper with much info you already had given online, silly. Up on 3rd floor, and TV remote didn't work, so down to reception for fresh batteries and the remote then seem to work but yet nothing happened with TV. Down again and receptionist came up and another remote was produced and then it worked. Annoying but good service by receptionist! Bedtime, so turned lights out, but hey, there was still light on! Apparently the cleaner had been up doing the very high bunk bed over the doorway, 3-4 meters up, and left the bed light on! So a 64 old man had to climb a ladder and then balance up to that bunk bed to turn the light out, NOT smart! The temperatur in the room was quite hot but you can't turn it down on the thermostat on the wall, so instead I had to sleep with the window open and therefor got cold toes. Not good for the health or the global warming.

Not worth the money

Posted Dec 10, 2017
Hotel room is too small for 2 children and 2 adult. Toilet is unimaginably small. The upper deck is very stuffy and hot. The ladder is small and narrow. Climbing up and down the small ladder is dangerous.

Kobenhavn

Pros: Cost
Location: All of Copenhagen is a short walk or Metro ride away
This is a great place to stay. 2 mins to the Metro station OR walk into town, a lovely walk by the way. The rooms really are 'Cabins' (AKA small like a ships cabin) but are fine.

Good value but cramped room if more than 1

Cabbinn rooms are very small and did not have enough room to leave suitcases open when present in the room. Otherwise bed was comfortable and area quiet and staff super helpful.

OK place for the price. CPH is expensive (no news there)

A small train wagon cabin kind of experience.

Small tiny rooms like a train cabin. Close to metro station. Expensive for its size.

Stayed one night with two young kids. Staff were pleasant, everything was fine. Rooms are tiny but well equipped and beds were comfy.

Perfect for a city break.

Basic room but perfect if you're only staying a few nights. Room was cleaned daily and beds were comfortable. Good location for Tivoli, and only about 30/40 minute walk to Nyhavn. Overall very satisfied with the hotel.
