Great location, great staff, great food.

Pros: The staff is awesome.
Cons: Clean the boat basin - the trash floating looks terible.
Location: Lucaya shops and straw market are very close, great diving and fishing also.
The food in the restaraunt is amazing with great staff and service.

Pros: Good value for the island
Cons: Upgrade the beds, bedding
Location: About mile walk to beach or shops
Very friendly hotel staff. Family owned for a number of years. Good restaurant on property with local table fair. Close to Lycua shops, but it w outdoor nice if you had a car to go to the beach or visit local attractions

Hotel was nice. Only problem is that the bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but everything else was great including the view!

Cozy, Simple & Clean

Great little family owned Inn. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The place though a bit outdated was very clean and the bed very comfortable. It's a bit of a walk to the beach but still doable. The restaurant on the property was delicious and well priced with great service! Great stay overall!

Not what you expect

Posted Feb 26, 2017 on CheapTickets
Everything around the hotel is deserted or being rebuilt. The bed sheets were stained with what seemed to be blood spots. Blankets were raddy. Mattresses were stained from what looked to be how old they were. Cigarette burns on the night stands. We found marijuana in our room. Not the hotels fault, it was hidden. Thought maybe when we turned it in to the front desk we would receive some sort of reimbursement or compensation. Nothing was done. The view out the hotel room is only half of what it seems. Half of your view is the canal and the other half is a deserted piece of land. The food was very good in the hotel. Although one night we went down to eat around 10:30 and they said the restaurant doesn't close until 11. They turned us away because the kitchen was cleaning up. The people were extremely nice and service was very well. When you set up activities the front desk will remind you which is nice. They set up means of transportation to get you there and back. Assist you with local activities and scenes around the area. Extremely helpful. Most of the negative isn't Bell Channels fault. When you get to the Bahamas in this area after they are rebuilding from a hurricane still, it's not what you expect.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that it was not what you expected. I will personally bring all your points up to our next staff meeting, to ensure that these issues are fixed. The restaurant does close at 11pm, but the kitchen closes at 10:30pm, however, that being said, we don't believe in turning anyone away, so I will make sure to address that with our staff as well. We value customer service very highly here, so I am happy to hear that you found our team to be helpful with tours, transportation and even reminders! :-) Thank you again for your feed back, have a great day!
