“We booked this stay last minute when another set of plans fell through. It ended up being a fantastic decision. The grounds were beautiful, the pool was great, the food was incredible, and the rooms were very comfortable. The host was excellent, going above and beyond with everything! Honestly one of the nicest people I've come across. I would highly recommend this place.”

“Way up on the mountainside with a beautiful view of the valley and the Douro River. Valeria is a wonderful host and the place is truly something special. The beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms fantastic and she thought of every detail. ”

“Overall, the place was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly. However, there were a couple of issues that made the stay disappointing. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room for the entire stay, which was inconvenient. One of the main reasons we booked this property was to use the saunas, but unfortunately they never got hot enough to really enjoy. That took away from what we were expecting from the experience. It’s a nice place with potential, but I hope these issues……

“This is an unbelievable place. We have stayed in lots of different places across the world but you would do well to find a more relaxing, beautiful and unique place. The breakfasts were lovely, overlooking the valley. We loved the pool area too. The accomodation itself was spacious and had everything you needed. A special shout out to the staff too who make this such a special place. Definitely make sure you order a picnic too! Thank you for a great stay”
