Location: Perfect location for a tourist.
Great location. Will stay again. Pool was clean and breakfast was good in a very clean eating area. Courtyard is clean and well kept. Area is quiet for sleeping.

Perfect location, non-intrusive but great staff

4th or 5th time staying here. Best location, in the center of the quarter. Beautiful courtyard and balconies. The rooms and bathrooms could use a deep cleaning and a little updating, but no serious complaints. It's authentic French Quarter in every way. Will be back again and again.

Excellent location with great staff

The hotel is close to Jackson Sqyare and Bourbon street. The desk clerk upgraded us to a larger room with a window after we had issues with our first room. The hotel provides a complimentary continental breakfast. The front desk clerks will book any tours you need. There is a very small pool in the courtyard area but we didn’t use it. I will stay here again when I return next year. You don’t need a car at this location.

Location good

Reception staff had varying degrees of friendliness depending who was on. Only pastries for breakfast and no knives there the whole time we stayed - was told to use back of fork to put butter on pastries. Bed and pillows were comfy and nice outdoor area by pool for relaxing

Loved it.

French Quarter charm. Less than 5 minute walk from Bourbon St, less than 30 seconds from Jackson Square. 10 minute walk to Frenchmen St. Far enough away from Bourbon to get some sleep. Excellent staff. I'll be back. Check out Eat New Orleans restaurant, Court of the Two Sisters Acme Oyster House, and Lafitte's. All within a 5 minute walk.

Pros: location
I would, but they need to make sure that they don't get a room near the brunch area. There are no doors to the brunch area and it becomes extremely loud in the morning.

1st given a room with one bed should have been 2 beds. Switzer to 2 beds but no window. I had paid for window facing courtyard. Switch to room with windows facing street. Very nice room

Great experience from check in to check out

Posted Sep 5, 2017
Pros: Location, Staff and ambiance of the hotel.
Cons: The rooms are musty and have an old world odor to them.
Location: Amazing restaurants, Jackson square, lively night life.
We arrived way earlier than check in. (9:00 am) Knowing the room wouldn't be available until later in the day. The bellman ( Stewart ) was extremely helpful in checking our bags and showing us around the hotel. Its a collection of buildings that create a beautiful courtyard, so you do wander around from area to area. The woman that checked us in ( Dionne) was efficient and very accommodating. We had a great room, originally we were going to have a queen bed, and she made sure we were able to stay with a king bed. While we enjoyed our stay, every staff person greeted us and wished us to enjoy our stay. Very warm and true NOLA graciousness. (Joyce!!!) If you do not embrace the true NOLA experience and the funky free spirit of the Quarter, this hotel may not be right for you. 2 blocks from Bourbon, right around the corner from Jackson square. And dangerously close, (end of the street) to Cafe Du Monde, for morning coffee and beignets.
