Comfortable stay for work trip

Posted Sep 22, 2016
Pros: Spacious and open. The feng shui is good! I like the look and feel of the open interior seating area and bar in the center of the lobby.
Cons: Communication of management to contracted AV & AT&T about internet & power supply installation for our conference could have been much better.
Location: We ate at The Cosmopolitan Tavern at a building that looks like a bank only a couple of blocks from the hotel. Restaurant, food, and service was good.
Had a work conference here and stayed in Fresno for the first time. A long, uneventful yet traffic filled drive from San Francisco was made better by a comfortable stay at a DoubleTree HHonors room! The hotel is spacious, clean, and well designed for social people with a wide open center area inside the lobby with the rooms on open balcony hallways surrounding. This detail by design was cool (until my colleague mentioned that people can probably see what room you go into which is not very private and slightly alarming as a female.) No matter though, as I felt safe. (There are 2-3 types of locks on the door in a room that was fairly new looking and well kept.) My only concern is that once we arrived to the banquet room for our conference for set up, none of the hired AV had actually installed any power supplies for attendees or working internet for the webcast producers. My colleague and I felt rushed to scramble and be ready for our 8:30 am webcast start even though we arrived hours before and were told it would be ready when we get there. Overall, everything did work out and did run smoothly after our initial stress. I would say it was a success!

Hilton Of Fresno Convention Center

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Pros: The Comfort
Cons: Wi-Fi Complimentary Breakfast
Location: Just the convention center
The comfort was awesome but the Wi-Fi is terrible, also it was hard to find parking at the Hotel premises. This Hotel does not offer any complimentary breakfast or fresh coffe you have to buy it or brew it in your room. I always prefer Embassy Suites that is also own by Hilton but there was no Embassy around.

Fresno - Not a great place for hotels

Posted Sep 8, 2016
Pros: If you're use to nice hotels this is the best hotel in Fresno and Clovis, the rest of the hotels are pretty bad. Restaurant is great. Pricey.
Location: Surroundings are pretty sketch be careful, don't go out at night.
On a Sunday we left the room at 11am and returned at 8:30 pm to find out we had no maid service and this was the day the sheets were to be changed. We called front desk then they sent a maid. Front desk asked if we had the privacy sign on the door and we did not, The front desk had no concerned. The day before Saturday, we had to call for toilet tissue and kleenex.

In down town

Posted Aug 30, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms should have coffee maker
Location: Everything in close proximity
No coffee maker in the room. Room rate did not include the breakfast, that was disappointing.

Super nice hotel, but kind of far from everything

Posted Aug 8, 2016
The hotel is nice, clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is delicious, and price is good. The only thing I would say is not so great is its location. All good places to eat are 8 miles away. The hotel access to highways though is extremely ease. Hwy 99 and Hwy41 are less than a min away. Regarding to noise that other people complained about, we got a room super quiet ( the opposite side of the elevators).

Thank you for your valuable feedback. Note that the city is doing a lot of work downtown . Expect to see more options soon!

Cons: the open space between the bar and the restaurant is weird, huge and open. The fountain was being cleaned so I didn't get to see what that was like.
Location: I was here on business. No idea.
here on business .I don't want to add a bit more to my review. It's ridiculous to require this

Thank you for your response. The area between the lobby lounge and the restaurant is used for events, banquet and sometimes we offer special buffet brunches (for example Mothers Day and Easter). We do hope you enjoyed your stay and would love to see you again on a future visit for business or pleasure.
