Picadilly Inn, Airport Location, Fresno, CA.Posted Jul 23, 2015
Rooms are in need of upgrading, however, this older motel has enough positives to overlook the dated condition of the rooms. 1. Spacious room size. 2. Comfortable beds. 3. Very clean. 4. Parking included in base hotel price. 5. Internet access included in base hotel price. 6. Cooked to order breakfast available. (Bkfst restaurant opens at 6:00AM.) 7. On-site restaurant and bar. 8. Courteous staff. 9. Good central location 10. Reasonably priced, good bang for the buck.

Good night sleepPosted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Close to the airport and clean.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Well Kings Canyon and Sequoia national park are only about an hour away.
I have stayed here before and I really like how comfortable the beds are. The building is old but well maintained and have a great staff.

Nice, but needing renovationPosted Jul 5, 2015 on Hotels
the hotel was comfortable and the rooms were clean. The pool was great and our kids loved going swimming. The rooms could use an overhaul. The A/C in the room kept turning itself off and the age of the building is noticeable in the decor. The rooms were very clean! The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay.

AccomandationsPosted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The room was clean, the beds were fairly comfortable. The hotel maids were very, very nice and accommodating. The location was fairly easy to get to
Cons: NEED TO INSTALL ELEVATORS!!! Getting to the 2nd floor felt more like climbing to a third floor, because of so many steps up the stairs to get there.
Location: As above about the location. I had a different purpose for being in Clovis than being there to "do things near by".
The person I talked to from Expedia, when I made the reservations, had a strong accent, and I had to ask her several times to repeat herself in order to understand. One question I asked was did this particular hotel have an elevator, and she said it has a "lift". To make sure that was true, I went ahead and called this hotel (the Piccadilly Inn) to find out if they did have an elevator in case I was assigned an upper floor room. The person I talked to said "no elevator" and there was two floors in the hotel. I asked her which floor room I had already been assigned to and she said the 2nd floor. I then told her I could not do stairs (I have a very difficult time going up and down them) and asked if she could change my room to the ground floor. She said yes she could, and would make a note of it. I had made the reservations on June 17th, and had also talked to the hotel rep. on that same day. When my friend and I got there (which was June 25th), I found out that my request had not been done. We had gotten in late that evening and they were booked (so the room couldn't be changed), and it was too late to go to another hotel. We then had to go up 3 sets of stairs (about 10 steps each) to get to the 2nd floor carrying our luggage. Had to make several trips to get all our "stuff" to the room because I couldn't carry too many items - a very slow process for me. We were staying for 3 days, so it wasn't worth it to change to a different hotel the next day.
