won't be back

Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: Better management and maintenance
Location: Close to Save Mart Center for events.
Very disappointed that the heater did not work in the room, there was no fan for the steam in the bathroom, a dog was barking down the hall at 6:00 am, breakfast tables weren't kept clean. Will not be back.

There was no one on staff who could make decisions(no manager on duty) which made the check in process a little difficult and longer than necessary. Couple rooms smelled funny as if they hadn't been cleaned properly. The Lobby was under construction. Environment was friendly and mostly in good repair.

Reasonable rate + clean, if not comfortable, room

The front desk clerk was helpful; she was able to accommodate my request for an early check in which was much appreciated. A missing shower bench was replaced w/ a portable shower chair a few hours after we checked in. The room was clean, the bedspread + curtains appeared to be in good condition, + the fridge w/ mini freezer worked well. The ice cube container + glasses were not in the bathroom or on the toilet which was appreciated. The on-TV program guide didn't work + the WiFi repeatedly disconnected + wouldn't be available for 2-3 hours at a time. The bed, pillows, + room temperature unfortunately were uncomfortable: I wasn't able to sleep + the other guest had difficulty sleeping. Breakfast in the bar/restaurant was a disappointment as there was nothing to accompany the powder scrambled eggs besides cheap danish singles wrapped in plastic. This was a strange + unhealthy food pairing. I have stayed at other Ramadas where bacon +/or sausage, hash browns, toast, hot + cold cereal, milk, + fruit were served alongside juice + coffee. This Ramada needs to improve in that area. Also, the door of the room we stayed in was missing all of its molding, so there was no insulation. As a result, the side of the room + bed closest to the door was effected by the 31F weather + the cold made sleeping difficult. The door molding needs to be replaced as Fresno is an area greatly effected by extreme temperature.

Parking on the back will get your car broken into surprise they just didn't break windo for as big as the place is it should have security funny how it says there not responsible for vehicles that get broken into and have fake cameras so you feel ok good thing said junkie didn't get in my car it's basically a crime field back there with junkies standing back there waiting for u to go to our room being all your stuff into your room or you'll regret it in the am travelers are most targeted because you can't stick around to see it threw so this will continue to happen

Outdated

I booked this hotel for a business trip. The Check in process was quick and painless. The staff was friendly. I went to my room which was a handicap room because the place was fully booked. As soon as I walked in I was kinda shocked. The room was very outdated and dark. The furnishings were old and the bed was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. The shower felt dirty and the shower head was 3/4 plugged with calcium. The newest item in the room was the flat screen TV. I had booked the room for two nights but left after the first. It just felt dirty and outdated for a Ramada hotel. I expected much more.

Room odor, couch run down and very stained, a/c heater not working properly, carpet by ac unit soaking wet, hair dryer superheated (dangerous).

Convenient enough but don't get your hopes up

Get what you pay for. The room was so dirty and worn down. Stains on the walls, chairs, carpet. Hotel staff was reluctant to bring basic amenities to our room when we called to ask for some. Literally responded, "ummmmm, I guess."
