Staff nice and friendly but -----

I asked the front desk for a wakeup call which never happened. I asked for directions and instead of admitting they did not know, they sent me in the wrong direction. Carpet tacks exposed between bathroom and entry way. Dried blood showing on carpet tack strip. This needs to be fixed immediately.

Location: Close to airport
Staff was helpful and check in was easy. Thermostat in room did not work. Temperature was generally manageable. Coin machines did not work.

Good location, poor breakfast buffet

Pros: The rooms were clean and our welcome was wonderful. The hotel was also in a good location.
Cons: More noise insulation between the room and the pool. Bars in the shower.
Location: Near the airport. Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks.
Everything went very well with the room. We are older and my wife could have used bars in the shower for stability. I was surprised that there wasn't a continental breakfast as there is at many Wyndham hotels and motels. The buffet was $12 per person, which is a bit steep considering the limited food selection. Also, the rooms against the pool were noisy. I will look for another motel next time I visit Fresno.

Dear Guest, We are sorry to hear that the noise was an issue for you. We do have bars we can place in the shower if requested. As far as the restaurant we are a "Full Service" hotel and as most other Wyndhams are " Limited Service" We will address the selection with the kitchen manager to see if we can fix this.

Staff Doing What They Can With What They Have

Pros: Proximity to the airport. Very quiet.
Cons: Room stocking needs to be a priority.
My family was in town for a wedding recently. The check-in was all right, as the staff did all they could to accommodate my hope of trading my two full bed reservation for a two queen. We ended up with a king bed and pull out sofa for myself, husband, and two teenage daughters. The room was clean and appeared remodeled somewhat. Issues with the room: No ironing board, no linens for the pull-out, only two towels (?)...that's what they could control. The remodel of the bathroom left zero counter space. That makes it a bit odd when four people are sharing the space. Now, that in and of itself wouldn't automatically earn a one-star rating. It was the totality of calling down for the pull-out linens and having to wait an hour for them to come from housekeeping and then realizing they didn't bring pillows! It was the fact that accept for our first time entering the room, our keys never worked. It didn't matter where we held them in pockets, wallets, purse, they need to be redone every single time. The attitude of the lady working the front desk when I asked for more towels and coffee packs for the room was odd, as if she didn't understand why I'd want anything! She even commented that it would easier if they let us in to do housekeeping instead!?! All-in-all, I wouldn't stay here again.

Very Family Friendly Hotel

Pros: Comfortable bed & pillows!
Cons: Room small for 2 Queen beds.
Location: Airport is walking distance (across from the hotel) + lots of fast food around but you have to drive there though not too far (3-5 min drive).
This is a very family friendly hotel b/c it has a good size indoor pool with a water fall so your kids will love it. It is also across from the Fresno airport so if you're looking for a walking distance hotel then Wyndham Garden it is. It is also a clean hotel w/ very comfortable beds though the only downsize is the room is small for a 2 Queen Beds room. Overall it is a good hotel if you're just looking to stay a couple days.

It worked.

Pros: Staff tried hard to help. Great bartender! He worked incredibly hard to serve a full restaurant! And went beyond my expectations in providing service.
Cons: Room selection.
Location: In the area for meetings
Unfortunately I was placed in a handicap room and in a back separate building. I survived, but not ideal!

Very clean updated rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. I would definitely stay here again. The airport is across the street but I didn't hear any noise.

Good and bad - nice staff, no elevator for 2nd flr

Pros: Location
Cons: THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THIS FACILITY - HOW BAD IS THAT?
Location: Great location, across the street from the airport rental car return facility.
Very helpful and friendly staff. People in adjoining room were obviously smoking during the night and in the morning, could smell it in the bathroom as though they were in the same room, notified the desk about it on checkout. The location is good, across from the airport. There is a 24 hour shuttle, very friendly driver, new van. There is NO elevator in this facility, a big drawback if they put you on the 2nd floor. The rooms face the indoor pool/fountain/party area and that could be an issue.
