Nice hotel but the staff was the worst

Came to Fresno to participate in the california classic weekend, the hotel was great in terms of location and comfort, but the staff only wanted to get paid to do the bare minimum. Horrible attitudes.... every single one we dealt with... you think they would understand the meaning of hospitality, or even treating their guests how they would like to be treated being that this is literally their job. I'm not saying I expect 5 star quality, but I would at least like to be treated better than a stay at a roach coach motel in the middle of nowhere. Also when they were adamant about there "protocol" on checking in (wouldn't let my father check in even after putting his name on the account), they didn't seem to care about our neighboring room having a whining barking dog, when their amenities clearly state that there are no animals allowed. Thanks for the cleanliness, but this was the worst stay of my hotel experiences according to the staff of the hotel. Definitely not staying here again or recommending.

The negativity from the staff has been brought to our general managers attention and is being resolved. Thank you for letting us know your concerns as we can not solve these issues with out it.
