Very Family Friendly Hotel

Pros: Comfortable bed & pillows!
Cons: Room small for 2 Queen beds.
Location: Airport is walking distance (across from the hotel) + lots of fast food around but you have to drive there though not too far (3-5 min drive).
This is a very family friendly hotel b/c it has a good size indoor pool with a water fall so your kids will love it. It is also across from the Fresno airport so if you're looking for a walking distance hotel then Wyndham Garden it is. It is also a clean hotel w/ very comfortable beds though the only downsize is the room is small for a 2 Queen Beds room. Overall it is a good hotel if you're just looking to stay a couple days.

It worked.

Pros: Staff tried hard to help. Great bartender! He worked incredibly hard to serve a full restaurant! And went beyond my expectations in providing service.
Cons: Room selection.
Location: In the area for meetings
Unfortunately I was placed in a handicap room and in a back separate building. I survived, but not ideal!

Very clean updated rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. I would definitely stay here again. The airport is across the street but I didn't hear any noise.

Good and bad - nice staff, no elevator for 2nd flr

Cons: THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THIS FACILITY - HOW BAD IS THAT?
Location: Great location, across the street from the airport rental car return facility.
Very helpful and friendly staff. People in adjoining room were obviously smoking during the night and in the morning, could smell it in the bathroom as though they were in the same room, notified the desk about it on checkout. The location is good, across from the airport. There is a 24 hour shuttle, very friendly driver, new van. There is NO elevator in this facility, a big drawback if they put you on the 2nd floor. The rooms face the indoor pool/fountain/party area and that could be an issue.

What a Dump ! Wyndham should be ashamed.

The exterior of the main building and the lobby are quite pleasant. The staff were also very nice. The Morning coffee was actually pretty good. My room was in the "Annex" near the outdoor pool. While I am unable to rate the rooms in the main building, I would recommend not booking a room at this place just in case they are the same as or you get stuck with a room in the "Annex". Here is what I found in my room: Black Stains on the bed linens: red, yellow and green stains / goo on the curtains, worn out and loose carpeting, dirty air conditioner unit. A lot of caked on dust. A note on air conditioner to use thermostat on wall. Thermostat on wall that didn't work. Controls on air conditioner did "work". Air conditioner with fan set on "auto" sounds like a jet taking off whenever the fan is running. Neighbor flushing toilet sounds like your standing right next to a jet taking off (it woke me up at 4 in the morning and I was already used to the air conditioner). The plumbing "sings" or "whines" when you are taking a shower. Also heard this from the neighbor who awoke at 4 in morning who took a shower after using the toilet. Maybe this a water saving tactic used in CA. But at least mine and another room had singing showers.

Nice hotel but the staff was the worst

Pros: Clean, comfortable bed.
Cons: If at the very least, the staff could at least smile, or answer the phones in a nicer manner and ACT like their happy to even have a job.
Location: Didn't have much time to do anything other than participate in the bike ride, but we did enjoy dinner Spaghetti Factory about 10min away.
Came to Fresno to participate in the california classic weekend, the hotel was great in terms of location and comfort, but the staff only wanted to get paid to do the bare minimum. Horrible attitudes.... every single one we dealt with... you think they would understand the meaning of hospitality, or even treating their guests how they would like to be treated being that this is literally their job. I'm not saying I expect 5 star quality, but I would at least like to be treated better than a stay at a roach coach motel in the middle of nowhere. Also when they were adamant about there "protocol" on checking in (wouldn't let my father check in even after putting his name on the account), they didn't seem to care about our neighboring room having a whining barking dog, when their amenities clearly state that there are no animals allowed. Thanks for the cleanliness, but this was the worst stay of my hotel experiences according to the staff of the hotel. Definitely not staying here again or recommending.

By the airport

Pros: The bar is a nice quiet place to relax after a full day.
Cons: The sign for the exit from Clinton Way is too small; it is easy to miss the driveway.
Location: Several good walks from the hotel if you want the exercise. We had to deal with lost baggage, so convenience to the airport really helped.
The Fresno Airport is a 5 minute walk of the airport terminal - it is less distance from the hotel to the terminal than from the terminal to the planes. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful. Good breakfasts.
