Great location, room was dirty on arrival (marked sheets), quite noisy from outside and othe guests shutting doors.

The room was ok. Really bad internet. Staff was OK. Area was great with lots of restaurants, bars, nightlife and supermarket close by.

Just the Job

Posted Mar 15, 2016
The Hotel Klassik was clean and well presented and excellent value for money. the rooms were warm and clean and maid service was daily . To the east of the city and with M10 tram stop outside the door giving access to the East Side Gallery (Berlin Wall ) and Stasi Museum within 10 minutes. Warschauer Strasser Station is 300 meters away giving access to both the S bahn and U bahn which made access to all other attractions a short 30 minute trip (max) from the Klassik. Our longest wait for any mode of transport was only five minutes and the busses, trams and trains being clean, quiet and punctual. We would definitely stay at the Klassik again and would also recommend pre purchase of a "Berlin Welcome Card" in our case at Tegel airport , paying 35 euros each for our four days of unlimited public transport it is well worth the money and no stress of buying and endorsing individual tickets for individual trips - just keep it handy for inspection
