There really was some sort of odor

Location: Plenty of shopping & food nearby. We stayed during Christmas so that might have been a mistake as far as traffic goes.
Pleasant stay with friendly staff (from the maids all the way to the front desk personnel). I read the prior reviews about the odor and found that to be true, but it seemed to be around the elevators on the main floor - not an issue in our room. There was one day (in our 3 night stay) that it did not exist. Breakfast was okay. Not outstanding, but I didn't expect it to be either (though I've had equivalent, sometimes even better, in $50 a night hotels). I never doubted the freshness of the items though and the coffee was great! Room was clean & comfortable (bathroom exceptionally clean). We stayed through Christmas and appreciated that there was staff around on such a holiday.

Great location in Frisco

Pros: Size of the room
Cons: Internet and the TV
Location: Great if you want to shop in Frisco or visit the STAR
This was a great room, plenty of space for the 5 of us, with comfortable beds and a pretty good breakfast for being free.

Hampton Inn Frisco

The hotel was nice but there was a foul smell when I first walked into the lobby. Lucky it did not go into my room. The front desk person was super friendly and very helpful. Check in was quick as was check out. We had a quick trip and this hotel was perfect for my family.

Quick Business Trip

This was a quick business trip in Frisco, TX. I wasn't at the hotel longer than 8 hours or so (late flight in, early check out prior to meeting), but the room was very nice. The bed was comfy, the shower had good pressure, and the free coffee at the breakfast bar in the morning was great too. I had a light breakfast of fresh fruits, but they had much more hearty options available, including delicious-looking biscuits and gravy. I will be staying here again for all of my trips to Frisco.

Unhappy camper.

There was a bad oder on the first floor just outside our door and the A/C was not cooling had to move at 9 PM to a room on the 2nd floor with only 1 bed, a refund is in order.

Great time.

It was great. Love the area. Only complaint is the halls and elevators do not have air conditioning.
