Very good considering ......

Though in the middle of renovations. Indoor pool was a plus and very relaxing, not heavy used. Staff was very helpful, cheerful, and responsive. As this is 2 minutes from where we dance in Fultondale, we would like to stay there again when in the area.

A/c didn't work very well in the room, indoor pool was green!

We experienced 4 large cockroachs in room and woke up to numerous red bumps on legs and arms. We stay in room 219. The beds were not secured well. We have stayed at Laquita hotels and have had great stays. This one was no a good experience.

Hotel.com dropped the ball.

The hotel was under renovation, and it had everything that went along with that. There was furniture everywhere, elevator was not working. Lobby was a mess. It should have been made clear to potential guest that renovation was underway. Hotels.com should have also made that known. Will not use this site again.

Stay Away

The place smells of mildew. I was confused why they were doing extensive interior remodeling when the exterior appeared new. Then I noticed evidence of water damage. The cable didn't work and the lady at the front desk said we "should unhook the cable and then hook it back up." Still didn't work. Breakfast was a poor offering for a hotel of this price. Would have been better off at a Quality Inn and would have saved $60. Hotels.com should remove this location.

Staying Saturday night.

Nice hotel, work was being done in lobby but no effect on our stay. Only problem - we were told we would receive a receipt on our e-mail but so far we have not got the receipt for our stay. Lights in bathroom needed to be checked as one light was out.

The only negative was they are in the middle of an extensive remodel. It was a little unsightly but understood.
