Thought hotel room was clean until saw chewed wad of gum in kitchen sink. Was told mgmt would talk to cleaning staff without much conviction or concern.

The room was very comfortable and spacious! It was what we were looking for and more! It's became my new spot when coming to town or just needing a getaway!

Pros: See above.
Cons: There were no plastic cups in room - hard to rinse your mouth after brushing your teeth, and the bathroom fan was VERY loud!
Location: see above.
Right off I95; walking distance to restaurants; clean room. All the things I look for.

This hotel is not worthy of a 2 1/2 star. I have stayed in numerous hotels in Gainesville lately and this was by far the most run down. No ice machine. In room phone didn't work so I could not call the front desk to ask them. Which is ok, we all have cell phone but just another annoyance. The noise from the outside was tremendously loud! The a/c only cooled to 74. The bed was lumpy. Perhaps the $250 I had to pay a night where I could barely sleep added to my frustration. We spent as little time as possible there. ONLY saving grace is we had our dog with us. Next time I will drive the four hours round trip rather than stay there!

Pros: Convenient to UF.
Cons: Trash had been collected from around hotel was left by the stairs from when we arrived until we left about 15 hours later.
The hotel was mediocre but definitely not worth $280 a night.

Pros: The room was clean and ready when we got there. All of the amenties worked and were easy to find.
Cons: I requested a roll away bed when I made the reservation. I did not receive a call before getting there to tell me they do not have roll away beds. The "grab and go" continental breakfast was also extremely disappointing. They only had 2 muffins and 1 granola bar. There were no drinks available for the children.

Wouldn't stay here again

Room entry is outside; area was noisy at night; have to ask for kitchen implements; air didn't work properly

spent one night because we had an early Dr's appt. at Shands , check in was fine man behind the counter was friendly enough, got into our rm and it had an odor, they have a kitchen however, no dishes utensils or pans not sure if your suppose to go out and buy your own. i wasnt pleased with the comfort of beds or pillows. i dont like to complain but with so many options i will not stay there again
