Good for visiting family and friends.

Posted Jun 6, 2017
Pros: I liked the flexibility the full kitchenette provided and the ample space to spread out.
Cons: Perhaps the hotel could be a little more diligent with their pest control.
Location: Lots of great restaurants and shopping in the Butler Plaza area. 2 hours from the nearest beach.
If you are ever travelling and needs some flexibility, I recommend Extended Stays in general. They offer large rooms and a small kitchenette - especially if you have young children like we do, the full-sized refrigerator, sink, and cooking facilities make it easier to stay somewhere on a limited budget. The location is surrounded with lots of great restaurants and is only a little under 2 hours from St. Augustine and Jacksonville beaches. Overall, it was a good experience, my only issue was the presence of some bugs that founds their ways into the bathroom. As a former Floridian, I had come to expect this, but my wife and daughter were not so pleased - thus the 4 star review.

Feels like cars are IN room!

Posted May 2, 2017
Granted, knew was close to I-75 but noise was so bad, couldn't sleep. No hair dryer, no ice bucket-probably no ice machine anyway! Some old ice in the freezer. Had to pay $27 for my pet. And "complimentary breakfast" was a choice of packaged muffins, granola bars or instant oatmeal plus coffee. If I had had a choice to stay anywhere else, I would have ...As I recommend to all!

Always better than expected

I've stayed at this hotel twice during quick trips to Gainesville and I am always surprised. The rooms are nicely renovated (dark wood laminate), the beds are firm and comfortable, and the shower has good pressure. I haven't used the kitchen area, but it seems great for long stays.

I wouldn't recommend it.

Pros: Location.
Cons: New door lock - and repair the door itself (hanging odd in frame). Pick up litter.
Door wouldn't lock. A/C quit working. Lots of litter.

It was priced way too high for what we got. Very disappointed about the whole stat. The room was nasty and it smelled. They said it was non smoking but my husbands asthma flaired up 3 times. To be truthful we didn't shower and bought extra sheets for the bed

Great location, that's about it!

Posted Apr 11, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Everything
Location: Location is great, with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby.
Stayed from April 7 to April 9, 2017, after paying $266.33 a night this is what I found: The "Queen" bed is not so, at best is a full When I asked where the continental breakfast was, I was pointed to a coffee machine in the lobby I left on Saturday morning and when I returned at night, the room was not done, and when I asked why, I was told that since mine was a short stay, housekeeping would not clean the room, that was only for people who stay over a week. Price was hiked due to UF massive activity and shortage of rooks in Gainesville, FL I've stayed in Hotels all over the world and I've never seen something like this!

Better to stay in somewhere else.

It's not pleasant place to stay. You have to ask everything like plates, coffee maker, bath tissue, and everything. They don't provide anything until you ask them. Overpriced.
