Nice room, great shopping!

Pros: Quiet and shady setting, close to everything so it's easy to run out for kitchen supplies...

Minutes away from I-75, massive shopping center across the street: huge new Sam's Club, Publix, Marshalls/Homegoods, Bealls, Kirklands, and lots of fun restaurants like Pollo Tropical and Chipotle! The room was most comfortable and well appointed with super comfy bedding and lots of pillows...

Adequate for those looking to save

My husband and I don't have any complaints about this hotel. Our room was clean (no bugs of any kind in our room) and fulfilled our need (just someplace to sleep at night and relax during downtime). TV, Internet, grab-and-go breakfast ("coffee and packaged muffins" type, NOT a "prepared with dining room" type), ideal location to restaurants/stores, fridge and microwave in room. Overall a positive experience. Not the Ritz, but if you aren't looking to blow a bunch of money on a fancy hotel this one is ideal!

'You get what you pay for'!

Pros: Kitchen facilities, you can borrow kitchen utensils, TV, air-condition, etc in good working order. Helpful front desk staff.
Cons: See my comments above.
Location: Excellent location!
Comparable to other 1.5-2 star motels (e.g. motel 6, Budget Inn ,etc.). So called breakfast - muffin, granola bar, coffee/tea. Small black bugs were flying in the room, killed a big cockroach!

Thought hotel room was clean until saw chewed wad of gum in kitchen sink. Was told mgmt would talk to cleaning staff without much conviction or concern.

The room was very comfortable and spacious! It was what we were looking for and more! It's became my new spot when coming to town or just needing a getaway!

Pros: See above.
Cons: There were no plastic cups in room - hard to rinse your mouth after brushing your teeth, and the bathroom fan was VERY loud!

Right off I95; walking distance to restaurants; clean room. All the things I look for.

This hotel is not worthy of a 2 1/2 star. I have stayed in numerous hotels in Gainesville lately and this was by far the most run down. No ice machine. In room phone didn't work so I could not call the front desk to ask them. Which is ok, we all have cell phone but just another annoyance. The noise from the outside was tremendously loud! The a/c only cooled to 74. The bed was lumpy. Perhaps the $250 I had to pay a night where I could barely sleep added to my frustration. We spent as little time as possible there. ONLY saving grace is we had our dog with us. Next time I will drive the four hours round trip rather than stay there!
