Property has many problem with maintenance area, outlets not working and too old, leak under the sink and the water running inside the room, smell too bad… however the AC is good and the bed and sheet, towels are so clean..

Very clean & simple. refrig but no mirowave. Tv good and bed was very comfortable. Not too many amenities but good for price. Not a big breakfast selection in morning.

Ok for a one night stay, but looks like a government living facility for the less fortunate. Most of the outlets in the room didn’t work and some of the wall lights didn’t work. Just had the small light by the door, and the bathroom light to use for light in the room.

Honestly, it’s a Motel 6. The stay is not expensive and the accomodations reflect that. It’s a short ten minute drive to the events I go to, it’s quiet, and feels safe. If this sounds negative, it shouldn’t; I’ve been staying at this place for the past five(?) years and definitely plan on doing so again in the coming year. There’s AC, security locks, a pool, and complimentary coffee. And the front desk staff is great.

Room smelled of bleach and needed to be refurbished. Dust was around the edges of the floor. Floors were sticky from improper cleaning causing buildup of chemical. Bathtub had paint peeling with grime around edges corners and baseboards. Corporate needs to require the owner to renovate starting immediately. Property shows aging without proper upkeep. Staff was very friendly. Room key did not work properly. You had to bend the key towards the door to get it to make contact with the strip on the lock. Tried multiple times before it would open. Will not be back to this property and will let others don’t bother staying at the Newberry property. I have stayed at many Motel 6 hotels but nothing compares to this experience?

The covers and blankets had stains on them as well as a bit of blood still on the top cover. The bathroom was tiny and filthy. The lights were very dim thankfully so I didn't see much else.

The bathroom was run down, tile missing, tub separating from the original one under it, like a cover on top. Not worth the cost of the stay, not when you have to deal with those conditions. Bed platform was delaminating. It needs a overhaul and I would not recommend it until they reduce the rooms and make the area more welcoming. Not a fan of people sitting outside smoking weed.

They recently remodeled, however, upon further inspection, it was only a partial update. For example, toilet paper holders were inset and appeared to be 20 years old and coming apart. Additionally, shower grout and corners of bathroom/ room/ inside drawers were visibly dirty. The back of the bathroom door looked like it hadn't been wiped down in weeks or months. When getting ready to vacate the room, I observed a couple of guys walking around with a spray bottle and rag and it appeared they were a part of the cleaning crew. Cleanliness is questionable. It was definitely overpriced but we were from out of town and we prepaid online. The front desk staff at check-in and in the morning was very pleasant!!

Pay the extra $20 or $30 and stay somewhere else. This hotel is dirty, way oudated, grundy, and worn down. One of the least expensive in the area but not even close to being worth it. Way too expensive for such a run down place.
