It was convenient next to lots of attractions but the beds are not comfortable, the carpet was very dirty so was the walls all over the room. We killed two baby roaches. Definitely would not go back

Non smoking is great. Drape would not close all the way. Rollin shower floor needed a chlorox solution cleaning. Shower chair outside of shower was in poor condition. An accident waiting to happen if someone sat on it

Came down and stayed for the NHRA Gatornational race weekend. Hotel was clean and adequate. Staff was courteous, Ice maker wasn’t working on the 4th floor and the TV and remote wasn’t working properly but we really were not in the room that much so it was not too big a deal. Plenty of restaurant choices within walking distance or a short drive. Seemed like a fairly safe area. Good visit

Hotel rates for Gainesville seem very high. Our room was pretty standard. The only thing that made it stand out from a room we had the previous week at another nearby hotel (at less than half the cost) was the second wastebasket. There was no tissue box in the room, just a purse-sized packet of tissues. The bathroom wall above the tub had been badly repaired, and there was no plug for the bathtub drain, so I can only hope our showers didn't lead to water behind the wall. There were plenty of lamps and lights in the room.

Ended up with a handicap accessible room, which I don't recall specifically asking for when I reserved online. The entire room smelled like the bathroom, which was not a good thing. The carpeted area looked and felt dirty, like the carpet hasn't been shampooed in years. The tile/wood bits weren't much better. The bathroom didn't have any counter-space. The showerhead had tiny leaks at several places where things screwed together and there was a little bit of buildup on the showerheads. The overhead lighting felt medical in the room, not very cozy. The king-size bed was nice, but my partner and I found that it felt like whatever parts of our bodies were touching the sheets felt like we were sweating when we weren't...? The staff were very nice and the premises was otherwise fine.

Very good value for the price. I read many negative reviews here but you get what you pay for. People shoud rate based on what is expected. This is the least expensive hotel in Gainesville. If you want a 10 star experience go across the street to Staybridge Suites but you'll pay 3 times the price!

The staff were all helpful and professional. Even an off duty employee answered a question and helped a colleague while assisting me. The rooms are cleaned as best as housekeeping can during their staff shortage. The score is not indicative of their work, rather the place itself could use updating. The common areas and elevator; however, could use some attention. Overall, a pleasant stay and no complaints.

Clean and quiet. Great stay for the price Grateful for the amenities in the room. Checkout is too early at all of these hotels, however! I didn't check in until 5pm and had to leave for 11am. That is robbery! I was exhausted from not enough rest .

The outside lighting is truly lacking. Way too dark. Upon entry to front desk, you see the pool area which is nicely decorated and sparkling clean. The double bed rooms are nice, no cramping all furniture together. You have 3 pillows along with beautiful duvet cover. The mattress is old metal, but comfortable nonetheless. Did not hear any noises from the street or freeway. I would stay here again.

We didn't have any negative experiences at this hotel but it we found it to be average at best. All they had in the lobby area for mornings was coffee. We were told if we wanted room service over four days we would have to request it specifically. The elevator carpet was always needing to be vacuumed, never happened. On our next trip to Gainesville we will probably stay somewhere different than this. Also, we had to borrow a toilet plunger at one pont from the front desk.

We only stayed one night, however the room appeared clean the corners were dirty. The bathroom had water damage issues. The toilet was very low. We reserved a room with a king bed and got a room with two full beds. The staff were there but not very excited being there ( could just have been a bad day, we all have them)

This was the worst hotel I ever stay in my life. I had to look at 4 rooms and still wasn’t good but I had no where else reserved and had no choice. It smell of animal and dirty I end up having breathing problem from the pet allergy which I wasn’t told was pet friendly. Mold smell in the room was so bad. I came home sick.

Check in was no problem. Room was on the 4th floor. When trying to leave this morning, elevator was not working. I suffer from sciatica and my husband recently had brain surgery having to carry our bags down 4 flights was painful and extremely inconvenient. I needed a receipt for our stay to turn in to the VA for reimbursement. Gentleman at the front desk was unable to print one out. I will not be returning
