Pros: it is very close to a lot of things if you get out and site see.
Cons: it was not the hotel its self it was the restaurant little under staffed
Location: Five Flag Center is perfect just right across from where we were going
what I really liked about it was that all we had to do was walk across the street to the Five Flag Center. Yes I would suggest it to my friends if they ask. Staff was very pleasant

nice location and the shuttle service is great

Pros: The Rooms seem clean and the bathrooms ar clean and updated. The beds and linens were very comfortablle.
Cons: The hallways were in need of a good vacuuming and shampooing. Also the room doors were dirty, marked up and quite battered looking. And easy fix .

it was ok. The frontdesk clerk was not overly knowledgable about local places to eat within walking distance which I found a little odd. She recommended the hotel cafe for dinner ,as it was cold we decided to go there. The food was good but it took us almost an hour to get some grilled chicken atop of some pasta. We noticed others waiting a longtime for their orders too. It was then explained to us that they were really busy because of some parties. Perhaps some extra staffing in the kitchen would have been in order. When we ordered room service for breakfast the next morning ,it took us 45 min to arrive but the staff that delivered it was helpful and courteous.

The hotel needs to be remodeled.

The wallpaper, sink and headboard were damaged. The lobby has been updated, but the rooms need work.

Nothing to Shout About - Nothing to Complain About

Pros: Location (downtown), easy parking and access to entrance, view
Cons: Edges of hallways were dusty where the vacuum couldn't reach.
Location: Only 20 miles from Galena (where the lodging is more expensive). Short drive (5 - 15 minutes) to everything there is to see in Dubuque.
Our Studio was somewhat small, but easy to get used to. There were no towel racks, so we used the bedroom closet barred storage shelf to hang them. We had a pleasant 4 night stay. We didn't use any of their amenities, so we can't comment on that. A very nice view out the window of Main Street.

Great facilities and staff

Location: Located in downtown Dubuque it was very easy to get anywhere.
We booked a king suite that was very comfortable, spacious and plenty of room for three adults. We had a great experience. The staff was very gracious and took care of all of our needs promptly.

Only if you can get the room cheap

Pros: The location was convenient, and the staff was nice. An onsite restaurant is a plus.
Cons: The room needed some work. Among other things, there was a strange hole in the ceiling above the toilet. Also, there isn't enough parking. We had to park on the street, and got a parking ticket.

Downtown hotel

Hotel could use some updating. Unfortunately, there was not much happening in Dubuque on Sunday, but it was quiet on Monday also.
