"It was faultless"

"Staying here was good for a short stay in Galle. While a little far from the Fort, it was about a 12 minute tuk ride. I think this is more of a home stay than a hotel, but the service was excellent! I originally booked the bottom floor, but thought I have booked the top. The staff, Capa, allowed me to choose from all the rooms since I was the only visitor during my stay- so nice! He also helped talk to my tuk drivers when they couldn't find the pick up location to go into town, and let me check out late in time to catch my train. Great service! The room did the job, it had what was needed for a short stay and had no frills. Would recommend a stay here. "

Although the surrounding area (3 km west of Galle Fort) is unassuming, the hotel itself is in a beautiful colonial style with every detail and unique decoration carefully thought through. The restaurant, just across the street and on the beach is also beautiful with excellent food. Highly recommended."

"The staff were so friendly and attentive. Helped us get a taxi to the airport and allowed for a late checkout, since no one was staying in our room after us. The rooftop terrace is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset, breeze and watch the people walking on the fort paths. "

"The breakfast menu al la carte was amazing!!! Great coffee , excellent service and facilities. Great location within the fort. No tv in room but isn't needed. Rooms are large with a desk and sitting area. Bathroom beautiful with claw foot bath, spacious shower area. Pool area is lovely for a quick dip. Staff go above and beyond. Top pick for accomadation."
