Not we needed after a long drive.

Posted Dec 31, 2017
Arrived well after 3pm check-in time. Took forever to get checked-in and was sent to a room that was not cleaned. Had to accept a room with 2 queen beds, rather than the king room we reserved. For some reason, we had to get our key reprogrammed multiple times - very annoying.

poor service overall

Posted Dec 31, 2017
Pros: Nothing at all!
Cons: Everything!
Location: Bad location with lousy restaurant in Gallup!
Very poor hotel condition, bad room, bad hotel management, bad hotel desk tenant, way over priced rooms! Unbelievable that the young woman behind desk didn't know how to activate the room access cards! She did not know where our room was and directed us around the entire building instead of showing us the room right down the hall from her! It was a very cold night and these idiots were nerve wrecking. Their breakfast was a joke in the morning & we didn't eat. Your rooms are way over priced for the quality. Your advertisement is a big lie with fake pictures of the rooms! Your rooms don't look anything like the ones in the pictures! We have stayed at Days Inn Hotels before many times and this was the worst of any Hotel we have ever been to! Bad service overall!

Good hotel for 1 night stay

Posted Dec 27, 2017
This was an okay hotel for us to stay in one night before we get back on the road but that was really it. The shower curtain collapsed and my husband had to fix it. They wanted to charge me for a roll away crib (I have yet to be charged for one) on top of not bringing it to my room but making me go all the way to the lobby to get it. And the cleaning is subpar. It does the job and it’s not DIRTY but it could be better. It is a very EH hotel.

Great Savings for travelers

Posted Nov 27, 2017
Cons: Noisy train across the street, but don't know what you could do about that other than inform your visitors.
Location: We were only passing through, so did not do anything in Gallop.
This was a pleasant motel with older décor. The price was exceptional for travelers. The only problem is that there were train tracks across the street from the motel and the trains ran frequently which was noisy. Staff members were friendly. Breakfast bar was acceptable.

Staff was great! Room needed some work. Heating unit needs to be replaced- either too hot or too cold. There were a few other minor issues with the room but overall, wasn't bad.

Lame

Posted Nov 18, 2017
Lame continental breakfast. Empty hotel and they give us room on the side of the building where multiple trains ran all night long. One microwave and it is in. The lobby. Stupid policy to put hold on debit card purchases for many days after actual payment has cleared.

Adequate for my stay

Posted Nov 17, 2017
Pros: Being on the first floor
Cons: The hallway to the room smelled like cigarette smoke.
Location: We went to the casino for cocktails and Denny's in the morning for breakfast. They weren't too far away.
The room was clean. The refrigerator was nice to have.

The Pillows SUCK but otherwise the place is cool.

Posted Nov 13, 2017
The pillows were basically puffy, poofy, lil square, throw pillows. We didn't even use them, just threw them on the floor each night. They weren't comfortable. They charged us the Pet Fee for each night we stayed, when we had a ADA Service Dog as our companion. When in fact the Manager stated Service dogs weren't charged a nightly fee. They questioned the medical need for such a dog and told us that our dog wasn't ADA certified by their company standard. The question was a complete personal violation. After my wife complained to the Manager, he then only charged a Pet Fee for one night instead of two. Other than that, the place is nice. Choose the second floor tho.
