We chose this hotel primarily because it had ample parking for a big rig. Checking in was horrible. As others have said (and as the guy behind us found out), even though I prepaid for our room on the app, “it didn’t show up in our system” was what we were told. The guy at the front desk was nice enough, but he tried to insist that we give him a different credit card so he could run it there. He requested that we cancel our reservation on hotels.com, which we couldn’t do without losing our first nights reservation cost! Hotels.com customer service people called the hotel multiple times. They faxed and emailed the guy proof that our reservation was prepaid. He still said he could not budge. Finally, after probably 5 different customer service people called him, he decided to give us a room and sort it all out later. The whole process took about 2 hrs. The facility is clean enough. The bed was comfortable enough. The linens were clean but well worn. The staff was very warm and friendly and the best part of the stay. Breakfast was sparse but doable. Think of it as staying with lovely but poor relatives. Everyone (after checking in) was accommodating and friendly. The hotel just is kind of rundown and the linens were worn. But, it was clean enough to not be gross. There’s a microwave and fridge. A shuttle to the casino is free. A full load of laundry costs $4 to wash/dry. Huge, nearly empty parking lot.

Dirty. Don't stay here.

Dirty. Clerk made an excuse that they tried to clean the heater/AC unit, but they could have done much better. See photo. Tub was dirty. Towels were threadbare and reeked of cigarette smoke...in a non-smoking room. No excuse.

the staff was OK however we had problems with our card for opening doors. In the morning there was not enough food, we had to ask for more bread, milk and others, and in the end we saw that there were not enough tables - only 2 and they were filled, and thus had to have our breakfast in the room. Not too comfortable

Wasn't what expected

Check in time was @ 3:00 and room wasn't ready till 3:30. Breakfast no eeds a little more improvement. No coffee machine in room

Was quite and clean. Had a restful night. I would recomend this hotel to friends if staying in Gallup. Staff was very friendly and helpfull.
