Overnight here as I am traveling I-40 California to nashville- quiet, super clean room, easy check in. Tons of channels on their cable, including hbo and movie channels. Giant parking lot in back and all around hotel.

It is near the railway track and there are lots of trains. Not near anything. The tourist information is closed Saturday and Sunday so we couldnt get any information on getting to the hopi indian cultural centre . No offer at the front desk to look it up online for us

The room we stay in was supposed to be for Handicap but bed was very hard or firm next the shower head wasn't on a flex hose which would wouldn't work for people with handicap.

I have probably stayed at 25 Red Roof locations across the country and have NEVER been charged a pet fee. At this location the FIRST pet is free and then you pay 25 dollars for the second pet. That is not what they advertise and I think it is wrong. Additionally, the room floors and bathtub were filthy. The ac didn't work very well, the filters on it were filthy. I had to wash them in the bathtub. There were people going in and out of the room next to us all night long.The toilet was so wobbly I was afraid to sit on it. For 90 bucks plus 63 for incidentals and 25 for a pet fee they r not supposed to charge, I certainly didn't get what I paid for.

We liked being close to the I-40 for an easy on off experience (exit #16) We had to go to the next exit (#20) for dinner at Cracker Barrel. This exit seems to have the most dinner options. We didn’t like the breakfast area, it was too small and had very limited choices. We opted to get going and eat breakfast along the way. We didn’t like the fact that there was no elevator but that is to be expected with Red Roof Inns. If you need one this is not your place to stay.
