The outside of the hotel with the lobby area are amazing......the pool is better then the pools in tropical places.....really amazing. Saltwater pool, heated, lots of palm trees and a swim up bar, what more can you ask for.
The hotel rooms are soso, i feel they really dont match the exterior of the hotel. They look worn out. 1 room had the bath tub peeling, the other room took 20 min to drain the tub.
On top of that the hallways of the rooms smell very musty/wet. Oh and the rooms are small for the hotels nowadays.
Roomservice was ok, the food was good. But they forgot 2 sets of cutlery and the sirop for the pancakes, by the time they returned, all was cold.
They didnt have the haunted tours in the weekend, but they do have an app you can download and you can ask front desk for ghost haunting equipment. We had a good time doing it, we found nothing....ofcourse. :)
We also slept on the 5th floor, in 525, 1 lamp turned itself off in the early evening. And in the middle of the night i woke up from something falling on the floor(sounded like) but nothing there.
If it wasnt for the good time we had in the hotel, pool, ghost hunting.
I believe 680$ for 2 nights, nothing included, for that hotel is a lot of money. They should upgrade the rooms make them feel luxurious and then could charge even a bit more.
The outside of the hotel feels like a fairmont, the inside rooms like a holiday inn.
