Just For Sleep is ok

Pros: Close to the beach
Location: The Museums, Muddy Gardens, the beach
We came to Galveston for a long Thanksgiving weekend, we choose la Quinta because we have a good experience in Corpus Christi. We are very disappointed, When I got to the room I have the feeling they did not change the bed, so the next day I took everything out the bed hoping they will get the message, When we return to the room after a long day of activities we found the room the same as we left in the morning, they did no make the bed, not change towels or clean the room. My husband went to the front desk and complained, they sent a housekeeper she change the bed and told us that she has to leave soon, not apology. The food also is not the best,we went somewhere else for breakfast. The toiletries very cheap.

Location: Walk along ocean Close to stores and restaurant
Bed bugs have me itch until I went home. Nice locations

Other than the roaches it was a good hotel. But I have heard that's a problem everywhere down there and we only saw a few

Someone stole somethings off the back of our truck

Location: The location was next to a Denny's restaurant which was good.
The hotel was old and disappointing. The light did not work and the fixture were not working when you need to charge your phone.

Nice hotel great view of the gulf

Pros: The view from the balcony, even though the parking lot and the Denny's was right there was spectacular
Cons: The coffee was horrible, and they could've paid more attention to their outside tables cleanliness for smokers
Location: It was relatively quiet as it was away from the bars. Made for nice early morning sunrise watching. Not much wrong with this stay
The staff was knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The lady who checked us in turned us on to a great place to eat dinner Thursday evening. When we needed extra coffee and shampoo it was gladly given

We had a great time and the staff was awesome!!

Location: Everything needed was a short walk and the beach was across from hotel. Awesome. Our neighbor to the right was a drag.
Room was good and perfect for us.I shared it with 3 other girls. The room had no complaints .

Room Bathroom on 1st Level was awful

The staff were great, the location was perfect but the bathroom smelled of fecal matter because of incorrect cleaning methods. This bathroom was on the first level, wheelchair accessible with the necessary accommodations. One accommodation was the shower stool which had feces caked on it.
